John Street Park — Attraction in New York

From its unique vantage point north of the Manhattan Bridge at a dramatic bend in the East River, John Street opens up vistas and waterfront space never before enjoyed by the public. Gorgeous spot to get a portrait of the Brooklyn and the Manhattan Bridges. I love the rocks by the water, you can just sit there and kick it back. There’s really no words to describe the great views you get of the Lower Manhattan skyline. If you love bridges, you’ve got to come here. Because the Manhattan Bridge has the subway running across it, you can hear it. In the park, it’s not too loud, but the closer you get to it, the louder it is, so caution to those who are sensitive to loud sounds. Adding pictures of the streets near the park too. Beautiful little park nestled Right next to the Manhattan bridge. Very nice place to take your significant other to sit back on the bench and chat. There are no food vendors in this park so if you plan on staying bring a sandwich or snack. Also note that since there is no food vendors there are no restrooms that I found in the area.
