The worst experience! I would never recommend this to anyone! Waste of your money! It's not result proven! It doesn't allow you to lose weight. If you are lazy and like to throw away your money then consider signing up here and they will treat you like a number and give no importance once you are a member. Its a new place and all they are trying to do is get people to sign up but definitely not customer pleasing or have any customer service. In New York, a business that doesn't have good customer service will never be successful. I went to this place for a trial class on Jan. 28th. There are three instructors there. Alex (who is the manager/owner), Angela, and Jaymes. Jaymes was very helpful via text message. Angela was a complete different person when trying to make the sale and is a complete different person. I told them that I can't sign up because i might be moving due to work, I asked Angela clearly can I cancel if I am moving. She said yes. I asked her are you guys going to give a hard time and refund the full amount she said The full refund will be given plus don't worry we won't give a hard time especially if our studios are not located in the state you are moving. She also stated she doesn't need any documentation. So, if you sign up for 3 months is more expensive then 6 months little less and 1 year even more less. I asked her if I do the year and I find out I am moving will that be okay. She said yes. I had my first class scheduled on feb. 4th which needed to be rescheduled due to weather condition. Feb. 7th I came to know that my application was accepted. I contacted them to inform them that I am relocating and I will not be able to continue and would like a refund. There was absolutely No response from Angela or Alex. Only person that kept replying back to my text was Jaymes and said he will have my refund completed and let them know and will have someone contact me. Entire month went by and there was a second charge on my card as of Feb. 28th and yet no call no respond. Today Angela calls to tell me she never told me the above information. Then she tells me she can't refund me 203.78 for the month of February and her manager Alex comes on the phone and tells me that Angela never said that and he was there. Mind you he was teaching a class while I was speaking with Angela so he is clearly lying instead he said to me "you are lying" he was extremely rude, doesn't allow you to speak and spoke in such a loud voice as if he is screaming. Extremely unprofessional and employees here are all nice to you until you decide to cancel. They say whatever you want to hear until you sign the contract and provide them your credit card. Alex then tells me you had 3 days to cancel while Angela said you have until your first class to cancel. Until you actually start a class your membership hasn't started. The day you start the class is when your 1st month starts. Feb. 4th was my 1st class scheduled and it was requested to be cancelled since the weather conditions were -4. I contacted them to cancel the entire membership on Feb. 7th. These people are refusing to refund me 203.78 and telling me they will refund my march charge and cancel the member based on a letter from my manager. ...

Such non-verbal communication from a staff member is deeply unprofessional and would reasonably unsettle any client.
Secondly, your assertion that I was repeatedly late is factually incorrect. I acknowledge arriving late to one session due to unforeseen circumstances, which I promptly communicated. Your suggestion that I was consistently disruptive is therefore misleading. Furthermore, the “gently reminded” phrasing you use does not accurately reflect the condescending and abrupt tone employed by your staff in handling my single instance of lateness.
Your response implies an openness to communication; however, my experience attempting to address my concerns with your management was met with indifference and silence until I felt compelled to pursue cancellation. The lack of proactive engagement on your part contradicts your stated commitment to client satisfaction.
Lastly, regarding cleanliness and organization: your response entirely sidesteps these legitimate issues raised. The facility’s disorganization and lack of cleanliness were objectively observable and significantly detracted from the professional environment you advertise.

Upon entering the studio at both locations, I am always greeted with smiles and a team that is excited to see me. The studio is clean, stocked with everything I need, and has a great aesthetic/vibe. The studios are intimate and lessons are max 3 people at once. It truly feels like personal training. The coaches are motivated to see me succeed and always help to modify my lessons based on how my body is feeling that particular day. I suffer from severe scoliosis so it is incredibly difficult for me to find an exercise that works for me long term. Iron Body has been a GODSEND. I am forever thankful to Alex especially, the owner and manager, for always treating me like family. I feel he treats me like a sister that he wants to empower, train, and see grow stronger and happier. It is a wonderful group of coaches and staff at both locations. I see a couple negative reviews that really break my heart because I have been absolutely blown away by the treatment and my results. I think some people are just very sad people to begin with, and feel the need to spread their misery. Iron Body Fit is effective, safe, warm, wholesome and FUN! You have to do the work and be honest with your coaches about your stretching, eating, and whether you want to make the lessons harder and your overall goals.
