I recently tried La Sandwicherie, hoping for a great artisan sandwich, but the experience fell quite short of the expectations from all of the possible reviews. My $17 baguette was extremely tough and difficult to chew, and the filling—a small amount of meat and cheese—felt underwhelming for the price.

The dining experience was also unpleasant. The area was small, hot (felt like at least 80 degrees), and super stuffy, making it even more difficult to enjoy the meal.

And lastly, at checkout, there was a screen with a required tip selection, in large characters strongly suggesting a minimum of 20%. Quite tacky and insulting for an already overpriced baguette with counter service.

Far and away the best sandwich shop in the area and it’s not even close. Have tried about half the menu at this point and every sandwich has impressed - even as something simple as their Parisian sandwich. Would recommend the Merguez or the truffle buratta. Taste is off the charts… The sandwiches are served on fresh baguettes - like an authentic French cafe. The new restaurant has employees that are super friendly and passionate about every customers experience. This place is going to blow up quickly....
