I booked a couples massage for my birthday, and this place ruined the entire experience. We weren’t even started at the same time, which defeats the whole purpose of booking a couples massage. I had to wait while my partner started theirs and when they finally got to me, I didn’t even get the full 60 minutes I paid for. The massage therapist clearly had no idea what she was doing. It was unprofessional, rushed, and she left my face and neck drenched in oil. I felt greasy and gross instead of relaxed.To make things even worse, the woman at the front desk had the nerve to try and force a $20 tip for that kind of service. I went to J&H Body Spa expecting to feel relaxed, not wrecked. The massage was so rough and unprofessional, I left feeling worse than when I walked in. It felt like the person had no clue what they were doing … more like they were kneading dough than giving a massage. I came in with tension, and I left with actual pain. The lady’s phone rang during my service also and she answered speaking loud.. why was that cut into my time? And the nerve to expect a tip at the end.., Never again. I’ve been going to J and H massage for over 4 years. I always ask for Sally. She is better than 99 percent of masseuses I have ever been to. She can heal your whole body no matter how tight. I am 68 years old and 250 lbs of mostly muscle. I’m Sometimes so tight everything hurts and she gets out all the knots everytime.
