This restaurant service was the WORST I've ever encountered in New York City. I've never encountered such shameless waiter. I've been here several times before and always tipped them well. However, Tipping is not a customer's responsibility, but when printing the receipt, the owner simply forced a 20% tip onto the bill without giving me the option to choose. When I asked to write my own tip, he became furious and refused to change the receipt. Given the lack of service and the mandatory fee, I chose not to give. I love this restaurant. The waitstaff is always helpful, and happy to see you. I haven't had a meal that wasn't tasty. The tank with live lobsters, Dungeness crab, and several types of fish makes dining more special. If I can't catch it myself, at least I can pick out what I will have for dinner. The duck, chicken and different pork dishes are sublime. They even have lunch specials. The only thing that makes me sad is that the wonton soup noodle dishes aren't served into the evening. I've been here for dine in and takeout. Portions are generous for 1 person and I personally can finish it but the entrees can def can fit for two people if you request a second rice portion ($1.50 to 2 i believe). Chinese brocoli and beef / tofu casseroles are my go to dishes.
