James Cummins Bookseller — Local services in New York

Was very excited to find this store online and having come all the way from Sri Lanka - having only a few days in NYC was looking to purchase some books listed. Unfortunately we weren’t able to visit in person, as we arrived at the shop on a Friday at 5pm - after climbing 7 flights of stairs thinking the elevators weren’t working- we found the door locked even thought the closing time stated 6pm and the phone was going to voice mail. The shop is closed over the weekend and we will be leaving NYC. So won’t be able to purchase any books planned.

I Hope next time - the stores opening times are updated on this - but I recommend anyone calling...
