JTAV Clinical Skincare — Local services in New York

I went here for a HydraFacial and asked over the phone before booking how much it would cost. I was told that a custom facial/HydraFacial would be $150, a very normal price for this type of facial. However when I received my receipt over email it was for $450. This is absolutely insane, the facial I received did nothing for my skin, it looks exactly the same minus the extractions that we’re done. My pores are still the exact same size, nothing noticeable has changed. Nothing. I haven’t had a facial in years and wanted to simply treat myself to this after a stressful year and was very upset by this. I consistently tried to work with them and have honor the price they said and it went nowhere.

Most HydraFacials are about $150, the highest I have ever seen one for is $155, I looked at several places in Manhattan and Brooklyn and ALL were $150 with the exception of one that was $155. I only went to your facility because it was walking distance from my office. Also, as a consumer I have rights and will be discussing those rights with an expert.

Regardless, your associate told me one price, $150, as a business (and a human being) that price should be honored. A customer should never be held responsible for the mistake of your associate. It’s completely unprofessional to do otherwise. There are hundreds of top rated spas in NYC, no one with any kind of morals wants to go somewhere that doesn’t treat their consumers complaints with respect. I came to JTav on the recommendation of Tanya Zuckerbrot who RAVED about their facials (google her and you'll see why I want my skin to look like hers). As a skin care junkie, I'm not often blown away but this time, I was. I honestly can't say a bad thing about my experience. From the minute I walked into their beautiful office and was offered a cup of tea that literally tasted like Christmas (I liked it so much that Chelsea graciously gave me a sample to take home), my time there was beyond amazing. I only had to wait as long as it took me to finish my tea and I was escorted into my facial with Allison. I immediately noticed her glowing skin and proceeded to spend the entire appointment picking her brain. Again, I wasn't disappointed. She was so knowledgeable. She shared what has and has not worked on her skin and made recommendations when I asked (at no point did I feel obligated to buy a single product from them). My mom came in for an appointment shortly after my fantastic experience and she too was blown away. My only regret is that we live in CA so I have to limit my visits to the times I'm in NYC. Beyond that, I can't say a single bad thing about JTav. Please do yourself a favor and make an appointment! *I was waiting to review so that I could try out my products - after a month of using everything Allison recommended religiously, I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin. The most wonderful experiences and best results in calming gorgeous space with the MOST friendly, professional and caring team! Facials were never anything that I enjoyed, nor did I see results from them. Going to JTAV Clinical Skincare completely changed that b/c it is an experience like no other skincare facility I have been to - and trust me, I have been to them all! The custom facial seems to be their signature and it's truly incredible- every session is curated for your skin's specific needs. Goals are set and they work to help you accomplish that with the right (and most cutting edge) machinery and skincare products. I had blotchy skin with sun damage that they literally erased from my face!! I have also done laser hair removal, photo facials, and consulted with Dr Wise. I was lucky enough to start with Joie years ago as she was recommended by a friend and have since worked with Allison,and Rachele. My husband sees Mary - they are ALL incredible! Speaking of husband, they got my skin and body ready for our wedding in 2018! Since it was overseas, Joie thoughtfully suggested the perfect masks and skin regime for the days leading up to my big day. Everyone told me that my skin was glowing.
