Dr. Gallagher is a great Doctor in my honest and sincere opinion, as he is caring, honest, and a dedicated professional who takes pride in his work and is always willing and able to assist and or refer a patient even if it’s not what he practices in. I cannot stress it enough that as he has been there for me in what ever medical needs I have come in for/ or requested in which he has a done a phonomolly job and I am forever thankful that I’ve come across a great burn professional doctor such as him despite being burned a little over 8 years ago. I brought my 1.5-year-old daughter to Weill Cornell Medicine, and we had a truly wonderful experience. Every single member of the team — from the doctors to the nurses to the front desk staff — was warm, patient, and professional. Dr. James J. Gallagher was extremely kind and attentive, taking time to explain everything clearly and making sure we felt comfortable and confident about the care. Dr. Gallagher is simply honest, knowledgeable and caring. If you ever experience any kind of burn this is the person to come and see, along with his staff at Well-Cornell Burn Center. When I first went to the ER at Well-Cornell for a 2nd degree grease burn, I was release and should had been admitted, according to Dr. Gallagher. I ended up coming back a week later with a swollen leg that had been infected. Of course, I was admitted into the Well-Cornell Hospital Burn Center immediately. Dr. Gallagher and his staff took me on the road of healing for 6 days while I was there. I am now about to complete full recovery and thanks to Dr. Gallagher, Dr. Houng and Dr. Peterson...
