I would like to express my deep gratitude to the wonderful doctor-professor of urology-oncology Douglas Scherr - Doctor with a capital D! Dr. Scherr is a very erudite, competent doctor, intelligent, polite in communication, tactful. My mother Olga Dikhtun now is 91 years old. History: bladder cancer that metastasized to the left inguinal lymph node. For several years we went to different urologists and had a different kind they advised . Sometimes they did not receive a specific answer regarding the diagnosis or the necessary treatment. My mother received all kinds of treatment, which only alleviated her condition for a short time. When I first came with my mother to see Professor Scherr, in 2018 , I was very confused, because I no longer knew how to help my mother. But we were greeted by very competent and friendly office workers - front desk, nurses, medical assistants. And Dr. Douglas Scherr thoroughly studied all the results of previous examinations, listened to my mother very carefully, and asked the necessary questions. And the doctor’s correct diagnosis, additional examinations prescribed, a brilliantly performed operation (urinary stoma), and correctly selected treatment brought results. My mother feels well and lives a full life for her age. Thank you for your work, your knowledge and experience, your love for your work, dear Dr. Douglas Scherr! You are my mother's Angel-Savior!!! You saved my mother and gave her extra years of life!!!!! You saved our family from grief and tears! We are happy that mom is alive and makes us happy with her presence! God bless you and your...

I felt little pain or discomfort as a result of the surgery and was discharged within a few days. The results could not have been better! Five years later there is no residual issue and my kidneys are fully functioning.
The results could not have been better…I highly recommend Dr. Scherr...

I first met Dr Scherr at perhaps the darkest period in my life, having just been diagnosed with cancer with no idea on the road ahead.
Throughout the whole process, Dr Scherr gave me and my family an abundance of confidence and compassion from understanding the situation, what would treatment entail, and the path of recovery.
... As of Feb ‘22 I am still stoked to say that I am cancer-free and i owe ALL of this to Dr Scherr!
I literally cannot...
