I reliably get the philly breaky wrap and the steak quesadilla. Both are excellent. Seriously. Probably several wraps per week and at least one quesadilla per week.
The philly breaky (yes, that's the spelling so far) is amazing and I get it constantly. However, it depends slightly on who makes it. In general it's best in the mornings, with somewhat more cheese and toppings, as opposed to the evenings, which tend to have more meat and less other things (dryer, but more protein). Still good, but not incredible.
One caveat is that they're still pretty new and seamless doesn't accurately show their menu. I got nitro iced coffee 4 times because it was on the menu. Each time the person at the checkout counter told me that the necessary equipment was going to arrive within the next week, and I could get something else. Refunds have never been offered unless asked for, but they are happy to do do if you ask. I also often ask for guacamole for my quesadilla, but it's often not there and I don't know until I show up. Their solution is generally to give me a bag of chips instead, which is nice, but I don't want it. Again, no refund offered by default.
Lastly, it's apparently much cheaper in person than through seamless. However, I've only ordered in person once and the cashier was incredibly confused. Friends have told me it takes way too long as well to wait for your food.
Overall, I really like it, but I hope they can get through some early hiccups. I think perhaps one of the best things they could do is have an app or some way to order directly from them, instead of through a third party that gives incorrect information and costs significantly more.
4/5, but I eat from here more than from anywhere else. I just think they have the potential to earn the full 5, and they haven't done it quite yet. Being open 24/7 is amazing though.
Edit: I've had some of the juices and smoothies, and they've been tasty. In general though, they seem a bit too expensive compared to the other food that often seems like a pretty good deal by comparison. I've never had any of the huge collection of pre-prepared food yet though, so I can't comment on its quality. However, it looks decent and is probably ready very quickly. The bodega-like selection of cold drinks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have ordered from here multiple times. There food is pretty good and it is great that they are open so late. Their Vera Cruz Panini I would recommend. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. The experience with their staff all three times I have ordered here has been nothing short of a profoundly horrible experience. Part of me is impressed by how horrible their customer service and staff is. It is almost as if they have gone out of their way to provide the lowest quality in food service I have witnessed in my 23 years.
First order: the food took 90 mins to deliver. For context, it takes 6 mins to walk from my front door to their restaurant.I ordered two sandwiches and left a healthy tip.
Second order: the food took 134 mins to deliver. Again, iāll go ahead and reiterate that it is actually a 6 minute walk (slowly walking btw) from my front door to their establishment. When I called to inquire about the order the person that picked up the phone was violently rude breeze and hung up on me. I was pleasant and again left a healthy tip.
Third order: this time instead of using a delivery app I decided to call them and place an order for pick up because clearly they are not able to handle any form or fashion of food delivery. When I picked up the phone the person was so brief and so rude I genuinely cannot believe it even considering the two horrible experiences I had with them previously I was still taken aback.
If the owner happens to be reading this I am speculating that the individual who delivers your food is also the person that answers your phone. Maybe Iām wrong but Iām pretty sure this is the case. The bottom line is he needs to be released from employment and terminated. He is ruining a good businessā¦your food is solid. I cannot imagine what redeeming quality this individual has and how he has maintained employment is beyond my comprehension.
I think it is also worth mentioning that Iām not exactly a reviewer I donāt do reviews often. But this individual or individuals are so unequipped for the job that I felt I had to tell whoever encountered this business and the small business owner that is clearly suffering from a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreQuality and customer service has gone down over the years. They will send sugar free/ diet sodas and Gatorade even if you request not sugar free. They've done this to me at least 10 times. Moreover, they charge $1 dollar extra to switch ranch to pesto in their California Hero. I've been going here for years, and have literally bought over 100 of these sandwiches and just recently they started doing this. The one time I asked them about it, they said it wasn't the pesto, but the sandwiches were listed at too low of a price online. I've had my worst BEC sandwiches from here too, literally tasted like cardboard, so I stopped even trying with those (had to have them add extra cheese because there might as well be none if you don't. Also, there's never enough sour cream with their quesadillas... so that's another dollar for that. I know I'm likely just ranting and this might be petty, but this is literally a place I ordered from over 200 out of 365 days in a year and now, maybe a handful of the time in a year, just hoping that things could be managed or handled better. Ordering a drink shouldn't be like rolling the dice and hoping for the correct version... prices should be transparent and I shouldn't feel like these additional charges are arbitrary and at their convenience... and really? this is NYC! They should know how to make a good and...
