Dear Lacoste Customer Service,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the customer service I received today at the Lacoste store on Broadway in New York.
I purchased an item that was not available in my size, so the sales associate offered to place the order online and have it shipped to my address. I provided my full address, phone number, and email clearly written on paper. However, when the associate entered my information into the system, he failed to include my apartment number. When I pointed this out, he had already processed the order.
The store manager was called over, but instead of handling the situation politely and professionally, she was rude and dismissive. She insisted that it was my mistake for confirming the order, even though I had provided all of my correct information in writing. She also stated that customer service was not available at that moment and that she would ātryā to send an email, but gave me no reassurance.
Immediately after leaving the store, I contacted Lacoste Customer Service directly, and they promptly corrected the order by adding my apartment numberāsomething that could have easily been done in-store if handled properly.
I find it unacceptable that a brand such as Lacoste allows its managers to treat customers with such lack of professionalism and respect. I had just completed a purchase, and instead of feeling valued as a client, I left the store upset and disappointed.
I strongly believe this incident does not reflect the values that Lacoste should stand for, and I kindly request that this complaint be reviewed and taken...

Unfortunately, Lacoste doesnāt offer an āorder online, pick up in storeā option, which would help avoid unnecessary in-person interactions with these useless sales people. Since the weather was nice today, I decided to visit the Broadway location to check out a polo I saw on the Lacoste website, which showed as available in-store. Men's Regular Fit Paris Stretch PiquĆ© Polo- Black sisze large.
I asked three different associates for help, but none of them seemed interested in assisting. Each one said, āIām not sure if we have it,ā and made no effort to check or follow up. That kind of response is incredibly frustratingāif you're unsure, the least you can do is look in the back or ask a colleague. It felt like they were just standing around, uninterested in helping customers.
I ended up going to the 5th Avenue location instead, where I had a completely different experience. A helpful associate there assisted me in finding the exact polo I was looking forāblack with two white stripesāand I actually ended up purchasing four polos thanks to their support.

Only one lady took the time for checking on us and help us with clothing. But then we went to shoes and the guy went o search for a size, and 15 minutes later, and only after hunting him down and asking what happened he said theg did not have the size. So were they planning to have us waste our time longer? When we payed for the clothes, the manager Alberto was very dismisive of our bad experience and did not even apologize. We asked if there was gonna be any changes so other customers do not experience the same and he just ignored us (we are right in front of him) and he just continued to scan the products. At some point he just stood there and stared blankly and asked āso do you still want this stuff?ā. Almost like should he be wasting his time finishing the purchase and bagging it? Or are we not worth it as customers? Very unprofessional and not what I expect from leadership in Lacoste.
I saw later that while being understaffed, they have one or two staffs on security to make sure people dont steal. Maybe they should get a security staff then??
