LAZZONI Furniture Madison — Local services in New York

Be aware - there is ZERO customer service after purchase is made and the attitude before vs. after payment will be drastically different. I ordered a couch in the Madison store 5 months ago and I still haven’t got it.

First of all, there was zero communication or updates on my order after the purchase and I had to check in with them manually to only get a brief response a few days later. There wasn’t even a tracking link or something that you can check the order status online (which century are we in). I even suspected if this has been a scam.

When the couch finally arrived at their warehouse 4 months later, there was no notification of any sorts and I was only informed that when I called them to ask. And a month later, the delivery team has been so incompetent and rude that they missed one delivery appointment and offered no immediate solution to deliver it again as soon as possible. To this date, I still haven’t received the couch. I’ve already got rid of my old couch to empty space for this one, but now I have none.

Update: Eventually received the couch and we enjoyed it so far. Their customer service has been following up with me many times since I posted the review. I just wish they could provide this kind of attention to each customer during the buying and waiting process. Their product is good quality and I like the design; but hope they can improve their customer service...

Lazzoni was recommended to me by a friend not long ago. As I walked into their shop on Madison Ave., I was immediately greeted by attentive and professional staff. Their furniture is tasteful and elegant, but what caught my eye were their sectional couches. Soon after I expressed interest in learning more, the staff swiftly produced digital renderings of what various models would look like in my home using software I had not seen before, showing me how different fabrics or shapes would change the look and feel of my living room.

After a few tweaks here and there, we came to a custom model that has now become the center piece of my home. It is a magnet for compliments. The friend who recommended Lazzoni to me is an interior designer and lauded Lazzoni for the quality and design of their furniture -- and he was right. My sectional is fantastic, undoubtedly the best piece of furniture I have ever owned. It is carefully designed, unusually comfortable, the fabric soft and resistant, and the moveable back rest is particularly convenient.

I bought bedroom and living room furniture for my new apt from Lazzoni Madison, and i had a GREAT experience. The staff including delivery personnel is friendly and make their best efforts to help clients be happy with their purchase. When i got my bed, it wasn’t the same dye lot of the swatch i got. Lazzoni worked with me to remediate it to make sure i was happy with my purchase. What i also loved is that Lazzoni can customize virtually every merchandise they carry.

I also want to give a special THANK YOU to their in-house interior designer, Catrina. She does a AMAZING job of rendering designs based on the exact measurements of your place and furniture pieces including little details to help you form your vision to really see your place and she does it quickly! She is very professional, goes above and beyond to help and patient! I changed my mind so many times and often didn’t know exactly what i wanted, and Catrina made me comfortable asking her for as many versions and changes to my designs as i needed. She never pushes or rushes you. I m still working with her on completing my project and looking forward to continuing...
