Le Image — Local services in New York

We used Le Image Inc for our wedding on 4/8/23 and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From the beginning, communication with Le Image was very smooth. Josephine was very upfront about pricing and the different packages available and shared all necessary information available to us to help us make in informed decisions. She continued to be available throughout the planning process and helped us make some last minute changes to our package.

Our photographers were Mike and Serge, and Luka was our videographer. We decided not to do engagement shoots so we met them on the big day, but they were super friendly and made us feel at ease right away. Mike was in the bridal suite with us for getting ready pictures and he had us all hysterically laughing, making for some great memories and super joyful photos. Even the normally shy flower girl was moved by his energy and was bold enough to request him to take photos of her purse and other objects. Serge was with my husband and his friends at our apartment and they had a great time with some amazing Abbey Road-like pictures walking to the venue. As a bonus Serge took some pictures of some our home decor. Luka was very personable and the whole team worked really well together. We had a photobooth as well and the guests had so much fun and were using it all night. The attendant printed 3 copies of each photo and we asked guests to put one copy in our photo guest book with a message. It all worked perfectly and our photo guest book is absolutely hilarious.

Nikola sent us our pictures earlier than we expected (one month after the wedding). We could not be happier with the results! We got 1200 photos, and it looked like all 180 of our guests were photographed. We had some beautiful pictures of my husband and I, the typical posed pictures with bridal party, and so many candid photos that really captured how happy and marvelous the day was. The venue we have does not have a lot of outdoor space, but the photography team was so creative with the framing and our outdoor photos are beautiful. They even took some avant- garde shots against some wall paper inside the venue with some special lighting that came out phenomenal. We got the traditional hour long video and we love watching and revisiting what we felt and experienced that day.

I highly recommend Le Image based on my experience with Frank and Nicola in October 2022. We went all out with photography, videography, and a photo booth. Josephine, who coordinated everything for us, was so helpful and kind.

The highlights for me were their professionalism, their familiarity with our Brooklyn venue (Deity), and their competitive pricing. On the big day, the kind and funny Nicola and Frank were giving excellent directions to our notoriously photo-awkward group. And other times, they blended in and you’d almost forget they were there recording. The final products were miraculously flattering. (No evidence of my smeared lipstick!? These men are saints.) They also got the near-impossible group photo (80+ guests) outside of the church, St Agnes, helping us keep a bit of a family tradition.

The photo booth was in constant use. We actually brought our own props to fit the loose Old NY theme and guests liked the extra options. And if Le Image didn’t have someone stationed there to help, we wouldn’t have gotten nearly as many photos in.

My tips for folks event planning is to follow Le Image’s advice: Create your list of important photos/people—and then have a responsible friend check that list at the end of the night. Our list was group-heavy (ambitious) and I took for granted that photos with just my mom and immediate family would happen naturally. (Le Image even checked in with us for last photo requests but it didn’t occur to me.) Second, as they say: Don’t rush. Before our couple’s portraits, I rushed to change and I put my dress on incorrectly—something I didn’t fix until an hour later. In the rush to catch the sunset for a few good shots, I ended up with a lot of photos where all I can see is the issue with the dress. 🤦‍♀️ So, take it slow! If you don’t catch that sunset, these pros will still get you beautiful shots, I’m sure of it.

So happy and grateful for their work. They are so good at what they do. Don’t hesitate...

My husband and I cannot put into words our happiness when the final photo and video albums were delivered to us! One of our biggest concerns for the day was that the photos wouldn’t reflect how wonderful the day was, with so much time and effort gone into planning everything. Luckily, Le Image did an outstanding job.

A friend of ours mentioned the lighting for many of the photos would be challenging because of the angle of the sunlight at our outdoor venue. I would never have noticed. The crew showed no signs of frustration, in fact, they were always smiling and looked like they truly enjoyed the work they did. Serge, Asya and their assistant made us feel as if they were part of our family and were happy to go the extra mile to capture all the perfect moments. Serge even took some pictures for guests from their phones (at their request). Even those camera phone pictures turned out spectacular! Furthermore, Nikola was extremely patient with us during the video footage editing process. Every request (and there were several) was addressed in a timely manner and every edit was made until we were 100% happy with the final product.

They were very professional throughout the event, so punctual even that they were at the venue before we arrived. They had the whole schedule planned out and were very flexible with our requests to modify it. Our family and friends totally loved them.

When you have a professional photographer you usually find one or two favorite pictures from the album, with Le Image that became an impossible task because there are so many amazing shots! They really make you feel like a professional model in front of a camera. We have already recommended them to our friends. Could not be more pleased with their work.
