I’m a 39-year-old public-school teacher from Jackson Heights, and after two kids my belly was in bad shape. I pretty much tried everything from working out to dieting and nothing really helped. A neighbor swore by Dr. Jackie Leva so I paid the $100 and booked a consult.

From the jump, Dr. Jackie felt like a cousin who happens understand me. She told me she had twin boys and felt my pain. She listened, pinched the exact spots that bothered me (lower belly + love handles), and told me how much she could realistically take in a single 360-lipo session. The quote she handed me already included the OR, compression garment, and follow-ups. I put half down and picked a March date because school was on spring break. Genny helped me do the financing. It was pretty easy and I got approved for the full amount. I choose the 12 month option so there would be 0% interest.

Surgery day was great! They gave me my antibiotics and a medicine that made me a little sleepy then took my to the procedure room. They had one great spanish music. I walked out in a faja under my sweats and was on my couch an hour later.

My recovery:

Day 2 – Sore like I’d done a core class, Tylenol handled it. I also used Motrin. I used towels like they recommended on my bed and cushions.

Day 5 – Did some outside walking and was back at work.

Week 2 – Started Zumba again.

Week 8 – Swelling was pretty much all gone.

This is hands down the worst medical clinic I’ve ever dealt with. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that professionalism and respect are completely missing here.The doctors lie to patients straight to their faces and don’t follow through with promised care or results. They tell you one thing, then do another if they even follow up at all. Absolutely zero accountability.On top of that, I witnessed unacceptable behavior toward employees, including verbal mistreatment and clear favoritism. Staff are overworked, underappreciated, and constantly spoken to in a disrespectful tone. The manager is rude, dismissive, and creates a toxic environment for everyone. There were also serious concerns about harassment, which I personally experienced and reported. It was brushed off and never dealt with properly. That alone should be a red flag to anyone thinking about stepping foot in this place. Do NOT work here or even consider applying. They will lie to you during the interview, paint a perfect picture of the clinic, and act like everything is professional and supportive until your first day, when reality hits hard. Everything they promise is fake, and once you're in, you're on your own in a chaotic, unsafe, and disorganized mess. This clinic is toxic, dishonest, and dangerous they don’t know how to keep their word, they don’t care about patient well-being, and they have no respect for their employees. My mother had a surgery at this clinic, and sadly, our experience was very disappointing. The procedure was extremely expensive (much higher than other clinics we consulted) and the results were far from what was promised. It hurts me to see my mom crying about this situation. For the cost, we expected quality outcomes that were never achieved. What stood out for me was how pushy the older female doctor was when it came to taking the deposit for the surgery. She was so unprofessional asking for a the deposit and making uncomfortable comments about my mom's body. The sales strategy here is so sick and sadly my mother trust them since she keep saying they are famous and present in TV (telemundo). You can be "famous" but you are NOT great doctors neither great people. You didn't care about my mother complains when she expressed she was unhappy. Everyone keeps saying my mother looks even worse than before. It breaks my heart! This was a major emotional and FINANCIAL decision, and we feel extremely let down.
