I went there today 10/21/24 at 6pm. I suppose buy wii but they donāt have. And my kids want to buy small toy for 4.99, when i about to pay the guy in register tall I think he is india with little blonde hair he told me is be cash only and he told me the total is 6 dollars. So i asked him is not 4.99 for that toy, he say yes with tax is be came 6 dollars. So I feel little confused is much be something wrong with theyāre register, since when new york tax be came 20%. So i give him 6 dollars. And he give me the receipt. And i sawed the receipt is say 5.43 and I suppose get change 0.57 cents. And i asked him again about the change, he say they run out the change. So i told him that so strange, i know this is not big money what i feel is he cheated on me. You should take a card if you donāt have a change. Or you can tell me exactly amount so i can give you exactly change. I been in cashier over 20 years and i work at retail so i know what is customer service. The way you cheat customers like that make bad reputation for the company. I donāt know how many customers you cheated like that, by the end closing time you got extra money to put in your pocket. Is like you stole the money. I just feel bad for others customers. Who ever go there please always ask the receipt and double check you money too. I donāt mind to give you tips if you be honest. Wasn't greeted reps were stuck behind the counter and too busy talking amongst themselves to come on floor and help anyone. I was first hand witness to seeing two employees by the names of Davon and James be completely dismissive of customers asking them to READ THE TITLES and ponying to walls and telling them to look for themselves to find games. Neither with name tags trying to hide identities. When asked for the manager Davon lied and said none were there then he gets one later when he was made to feel ridiculous about his lack of customer service. Then we see a so called asst manager BiBi tried and pass her self off as the store manager and tried to pass the buck bc the customers were kids. She refused to initially give the managers name and would not give her DMs name. Two employees laughing it off as they dismissed customers and belittled them bc they were kids. This is the reason I guess game stop keeps failing. I guess the brand got too big to value customers and thinks it's ok to bully kids and too busy to help anyone else. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went there today and found two good games for a good price, those were "uncharted: Drake's Fortune" Ps3 and "Spider-Man 3" xbox 360. I went to check out so I can buy them and the lady said they don't have the discs anymore. I don't understand why the heck the game cases are on the shelf if they don't have the game discs. Then I just grabbed another game and this time it was gta 5 for Xbox 360. THEY DON'T HAVE IT. Like Why are the game cases there if they don't have the game discs anyways? GameStop is the only place where I can get the games from the past generations that I like for cheap because in other places their very expensive. Somebody should be checking what games they have and they don't have so they can remove the games cases of those games that they no longer have, because one client like me will get disappointed when you don't get what you wanted. I mean, I know that not every game that one wants will be there, but seeing the games you want then telling you that they don't have the disc!? That is just wrong from you guys at GameStop.
