My daughter Kimani Foster was introduced to the Lotus family just before her 16th birthday. From the start, she was welcomed with open arms and Lotus became an unbreakable family. Through joining the group she gained confidence and matured in so many ways into a beautiful young lady. Aside from dancing with the group, she built friendships with literally everyone. They enjoyed being around each other all of the time. She eventually joined the travel team, and they traveled to Chicago and Miami to perform. She had the time of her life with the group. She also became an assistant at lotus and helped teach children in the younger hip hop class. On October 6, 2020, my daughter was killed in a tragic car crash. The love that Lotus had for kimani did not stop there. Jerzy and the dancers performed at my Daughters funeral service. In addition, they put together an amazing video Tribute of her life throughout her years of dancing at lotus that was shown at the services. It touched my heart and all that loved Kimani more than ever. I could never thank them enough for the phenomenal performance. Lotus Dance Academy is by far one of the best dance groups to have your child in. You will definitely see a difference in your child as you will see your child mature right before your eyes. They will begin to develop new dance skills, performing with confidence and build a family bond with one another. You will not be disappointed!! The Lotus Creations Academy in Brooklyn, NYC is an underrated treasure of this world. Its beauty is beyond remarkable, and is a unique space that only a few can say they've had the pleasure to truly and fully experience. The Lotus Creations Academy is incredible for any momentous or auspicious events. Tucked nicely in the heart of Brooklyn, the studio shows pride in its wonderfully high ceilings, clean and welcoming atmosphere, and gorgeous lighting fixtures.

The lounge space in the back is pure eye-candy, with some incredibly comfy sofas and aesthetically pleasing uplighting. The studio is the perfect place for a small event or creative work, and easily accommodates 20 people.

Once you step foot here, you'll realize that this is more than just a dance studio — it's also a beautiful conglomeration of culture and love. The LCA hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including beginner to intermediate dance classes hosted by world-class talent, casting calls, and community outreach events. It's the perfect place to learn something new about yourself, or simply enjoy the beauty and art of dance and movement.

The academy runs with tradition and history. Dating back to 2014, the LCA has been serving the community for almost 10 years. It's a place where memories are made and traditions are passed down from generation to generation. I am so beyond grateful to have worked with their staff and photograph an event...

My daughter has been with Lotus Creations since late 2018. I have watched my daughter blossom into a more active and energetic child. Before introducing her to this dance studio she was only active by force or when the environment called for it. Now she can confidently walk into a room, not be shy or hesitant to engage in song or dance and "do her thing"...I've watched Lotus Creations develop more and more. My hopes in the near future as far as marketing goes is that for the dedicated & loyal students who participate weekly at Lotus that their should be a "rotate" on "the faces" allowing each child of different age groups to perhaps represent and or showcase not only their talents but their photography skills on Lotuses flyers, websites and/or Social Media platforms this will not ONLY show fairness but appreciation to the child & parents who make an effort to keep their child a part of this growing family...I'll be back with an updated review in the meantime if you child loves dance and you want more energy and confidence from them check out Lotus...
