If you need an appointment in a timely manner, Montefiore is not the place for you. I waited three months for an appointment that i absolutely needed, no courtesy reminder calls, not even the automated messaging system, which was requested, and the next appt is another three months away. I used to work for a hospital in the city, and frankly, they are making things highly inconvenient to the patients and convenient for the staff. It takes two mins max to make a reminder courtesy call in the morning or the day before. Their motto is to blame the patient; it is their responsibility. It’s been months since I been able to make an appointment because Dr Qbeer or whatever his name is took a vacation right after putting me on pretty serious medication. No check up’s no call backs.

Nothing was explain to me about the concerns I had about my diagnosis of the findings of my exam. NP Chambers referred me to the therapist on-site due to past trauma along with PTSD. I forgotten her name... the only one there. She was supposed to find a suitable therapist near me because of my PTSD but nothing happened. I was treated like I was contagious. Done!
