New China — Restaurant in New York

This used to be my favorite Chinos. My regular is Large Egg Foo Young, and order of chicken wings and a cherry Pepsi . Delivery is always prompt and he comes straight to my door, he always gets a tip. But today I found a piece of metal in my egg foo young . If it was a staple I would've been a little understanding, since they staple all the plates. But it was a rusted rounded piece of metal with two sharp ends. That I didn't discover until it was scratching the top of my mouth as I was chewing. I'm so livid and hungry. I called and she said to come in and bring my food. She said it was probably a fried onion . I'm telling her this was METAL . I showed her a piece of fried onion and a piece of metal . She was pointing to her ears saying we don't wear earrings head. OKAY I didn't say it was an earring . Earrings don't have 2 pointy ends and hopefully earrings don't look rusted. This metal looked like a broken piece of a whisk or some utensils they use. She flung the tissue that had the metal wrapped inside and dumped my whole Tupperware of food out and threw me $10. Mind you my order was $15.25 . I don't know which makes me more mad the fact that I almost died and she didn't care about her customer or the fact that I really love their food and can never order from there again. New China...

Deceptive pricing and price gouging. I went to this restaurant and requested a menu because the one they had on the counter was old and barely readable. I was given a new menu by the owner. I checked it over and saw the price of what I wanted and ordered based on that price. When I got the food, she quoted a price that was not on the menu and pointed to the old unreadable menu on the counter. I showed her the one that she gave to me, and she told me that that menu is from 4 years ago. What? She started to to shout at me and was belligerent that I wanted to pay the price that was on the menu that she gave to me. I didn't have to, but I decided to pay for one order and she snatched the money from my hand. Very rude restaurant owner and deceptive business practice. I support local but I will not be buying...

This is by far one of the best Chinese restaurants I've eaten at within my area. The food is decent and still warm when it gets to you. My order had no mistakes. They actually delivered at ten thirty at night even with closing time approaching. The delivery time was under an hour. The delivery man is so understanding. I told him I couldn't come outside because of my baby and he simply stayed on the line and asked for confirmation of my apartment number. He brought me my phone and didn't try to up the price for a tip like other restaurant employees have done to me in the past. Needless to say, he got a tip and I have found my new favorite Chinese spot. I would post a picture but I ate it before the thought...
