Nail WAH — Local services in New York

Omggg I'm in love with this place that I found off Google. Definitely worth the price . The products they use on your nails and skin or vegan and organic. Everything is disposable which is good they don't reuse. The people who work there are so professional and well mannered. I'm very sensitive when it comes to my nails and they understood how to handle me with care which is a big plus for me. This will now be my go to spot, it is walking distance from my job so even better it is near all trains. I'll give a next update in 2 weeks or so to see how long my nails lasted. I had bad experience previous places. When I came here to Nail Wah they fixed all my broken nails lol plus more so thanks so much for your lovely services and you patience with me. You must try this place out if you want good service oh and it's best you make appointments with them so they can schedule you accordingly. Yesterday when I went I was a walk in they took me in because they had a cancelation so guess I lucked up. But make ya appointment with them and they will schedule you. Also they give you hot or cold teas which ever one you prefer. I chose the ginger hot tea which was oh so good. It had the ginger peices in it along with the honey. They have amazing gel colors too. I always like to come here even I live in Long island. I went to the salon on Thursday afternoon, feel rushed to choose my color and wasn’t get my questions answered or get a welcome help. She keeps rushing me, the mani tech was nice and ask me, turned out great. I specifically booked nail tech 3 since she did so well last time for me, her schedule never available before so I was excited. Noticed she was busy since she sit next to my table. Went to do my pedi, i know the process will start with other technician and she will take over. No one informed me that’s she’s too busy so other will help and that’s ok, I also don’t wanna be rude and understand she’s trying her best. Have no issue till I sit at dry station. I was a good 17-18 minutes as technician told me. I turned to ask the receptionist to check, she just grabbed the oil bottle, put it on and wrap it up. I came home, the whole set was ruined. I text and planning to come and fix but honestly dont wanna come back ever again after this bad experience. Both mani and pedi plus tip is $133. It’s not cheap price for you to feel this bad

Also notice there’s a customer with fungus toe nail next to me, not sure if i see it wrong or they know but ignore it. You shouldn’t do any service on fungus nail ever… this also gross me out.

I had such a wonderful experience!!!! I found Nail WAH on Yelp when I was looking for mani and pedi to treat myself for my birthday - I reached out to Jee Young through Instagram and asked her about nail art and appointments and she was extremely patient with me. I booked the appointment for organic spa mani and organic spa pedicure. Jee Young was super patient and detailed with my nails and spa. She also worked with me and tried out a few designs since I only wanted regular nails and most arts don't work. I also love the overall decor and details at Nail Wah: the wall paper, the lights, bathroom is also super cute, there's phone holder while you do mani, and korean tea/coffee to enjoy while you dry your nails! Jee Young is super sweet and kind - she really took time to make sure I enjoy the experience, overall it was a little more than 3hours and I enjoyed every minute! I feel very COVID safe in the studio, Jee Young and her husband wore masks the whole time and I was the only client. Highly recommend for the high quality service! Thank you so...
