I've been wanting a pair of new balances for a while but the styles and sizes had me all confused. I knew ai needed to go see them in person and boy am I glad I ended up at the new balance store on the upper west side because the staff there is amazing. I walked in and a nice lady named Yael Am started helping me right away. She measured my foot and I told her I have a weird foot size (wide) and I need a comfortable shoe to skate in.
She started helping me but then directed me to a person working there named William Stamps, after I mentioned skating. If you skate, go see this man. He got me a whole assortment to try on. Read moreExcellent customer service! I bought a pair of New Balance shoes online. They didn't fit that well and I decided to go to the store on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. The customer representative did a 3D scan on my feet. She was an absolute expert on the shoes that New Balance sells and was able to help me get a new pair of shoes that fit my feet perfectly! It was worth taking a trip by train from Flushing Queens all the way to 69 street in Manhattan to get the expert advice from the New Balance representative!

If they understand that the customer service in-store is a component of the product, they should NOT splurge their budget on the lamentable staff that operates that store.
