new city sky massage spa — Local services in New York

I don't usually leave bad reviews, and been to so many places that offered a very good massage, most of them were either Thai or Chinese or around those regions so I thought this place would be very good too but I was deeply disappointed. So disappointing I had to ask them to stop as it was nothing nice or painful deep tissue which im used to. It literally felt like the guy had no idea what he was doing and was defo not experienced understanding muscles or pressure points. he was just digging his elbow everywhere and putting so much pressure on my lower back i thought he may break it... there was just no strucutre to it whatsoever, kinda felt like he was doing whatever he thought might come across as massaging. im not into fancy places so didn't mind the poor decor etc Been to places like this before and the massage was amazing but unfortunately not in here. Maybe i got unlucky with a junior massagist, not sure but I felt very uncomfortable and just wanted to leave...

I have been using the place for a few years now and it was OK, not the greatest massage but you could not beat the price. As I walked in today, I was told had to pay ahead of time for service (this never happened in the 10+ times I have been there). I explained the lady that this was strange and that I didn't feel comfortable paying ahead. She then told me I could pay later but then it would have to be cash only..... NOPE. Go anywhere else, there's no reason anyone is demanding a 25% tip up front, before service. That's not how it works. They also charge if you use a credit card, so they charge you $4 to use your card and expect $10 up front tip so they can give whatever kind of massage they're feeling like that day and you've...
