No frills barber shop with a very loyal customer base, my family included. The quality of the cuts are WAY better than you pay for. People don't believe me when I tell them my haircut is $7 and just laugh at me because it really looks salon-quality. I started bringing my son here when our regular place went up from $7 to $10 2 years ago. In 2025, they are one of a few places left in Chinatown still charging $7 but be prepared to wait, because everyone loves them and are willing to wait 30+ minutes to get a great, cheap haircut. Go in the middle of the day during a week day for a better chance to walk right in. Regarding tipping, if you give a $10, they're going to assume you are tipping them $3. For any service more than $10 and you give a $20, they're going to assume you're tipping them the difference - you have to ask for a specific amount back. I personally think they deserve the tip esp since they charge so little so please be a generous to these hard workers! They're on their feet going non-stop all dayand will only go on break if there's no one waiting! One time I saw one of them order their lunch over the phone, it was delivered from down the block while he had two back to back perm/dye/cut clients he was working on simultaneously and he still didn't get to his lunch over an hour later! They're very dedicated to their craft and the quality and expertise of the cuts...
