I don’t know where to start! One of the first things that a bride thinks about (and worries about) during wedding planning is her white dress! And with COVID, it is even more difficult to find the right dress. First of all, thank you for the great customer service! Thank you Natalya for your patience, your knowledge and experience! Natalya you are one of the most professional people I have had the pleasure of working with! Thanks from the bottom of my heart for making buying a wedding dress such a pleasant experience! Thank you for this beautiful dress! It is very well designed and made! It is gorgeous! It is a dress made for a princess really! A princess can be proud to wear this dress! This is how great this dress is! Thank you for the perfect packaging! You didn’t even forget the hanger, the plastic cover and the bag for it! Thanks for the matching veil! It is breathtaking! Thanks for all the modifications done on the dress (I had the dress custom made with my own measurements and few modifications that were done perfectly)! It also fits perfectly! I don’t even need to make any changes! I wouldn’t have imagined having a dress that is made for me to be this perfect even if the measurements were taken in person! All measurements were provided online! You didn’t even need to see me! We didn’t need to have fitting sessions! You are miracle workers! Also, the dress is of a great quality! The satin, tulle, and beaded appliqué! So beautiful! If I saw this dress and the seller told me it is for double its price, I would have believed that! Finally, the dress arrived even earlier than expected. Stores in Boston asked for at least six months to prepare a dress which was going to cost much more and would require modifications at the end. On the other hand, this breathtaking dress was made in Europe and arrived in less than two months! It was actually made in about a month if I count the holiday break in Europe and the shipping time! Again, miracle workers! It is my dream dress! Thank you Natalya! Thanks to the wonderful designer Iryna Kotapska and everyone who worked on it for making my dream come true! I recommend New York City Bride to all my family and friends and to anyone who is reading this review! They are the best...

I purchased my wedding dress from this boutique, and while my first two appointments during the sales process were wonderful, attentive, sweet, and accommodating, my recent experience during pickup was extremely disappointing. If it’s because they were trying to make a sale they did a good job.

When I arrived to pick up my dress, I immediately noticed issues with both the quality and customer service. Beads were literally falling off as I put the dress on, and an attached piece was loose. I had paid an additional $250 for a custom fit to accommodate my bust, so I expected the dress to arrive in excellent condition and properly inspected before pickup.

Unfortunately, that was not the case. The bridal attendant seemed unconcerned and barely apologetic—if at all. I was then directed to their recommended seamstress, who was supposed to correct the issues and cover the damages. I drove where they told me. However, the seamstress was dismissive, even asking me to provide the missing beads myself. Sharing if I don’t have them she will match them/find something similar. When I picked the beads up off the floor and handed them to the stylist, there was still no apology or acknowledgment. The seamstress also insisted certain beads had not fallen off, which was frustrating to hear after witnessing it firsthand.

I was told the dress would be “ready by my wedding,” but considering it still needs to be hemmed and repaired, that response was dismissive and unhelpful. The manager was supposed to call me at 5 PM to discuss the situation, but I never received a call.

Overall, I’m disappointed that what should have been a joyful and exciting experience turned into one of frustration. Rather than taking accountability and ensuring the dress was delivered in proper condition, I feel the staff is simply patching up issues that should never have occurred in the first place. I am not from the area and will have to come back again to get my dress. I wish they would do more to...

As someone who did not want a big fuss, or a big bill, for a wedding dress, I really loved the experience and selection at NYC Bride. The store is quaint and has a limited, but lovely selection of quality dresses at a reasonable price. It really allows the modern bride to have it all and can accommodate any budget. As the space is small, the store only holds 1 appointment at a time ensuring the consultant can work with their client one on one and that all the dresses are available for try on, instead of having to possibly wait on another bride at the other end of the store etc to try on the dress you are looking for.

The selection carries virtually any style dress with a handful of options in each silhouette/embellishment/sleeve style. This really helped me as I tend to get overwhelmed with too many options.

Quite possibly the best part of shopping at NYC Bride is the transparency. Designers are posted online and verifying the designer's atelier sites and seeing their styles, and level of experience before even entering the store. They are also one of the only shops I have seen advertise their pricing online, so there are no surprises in shopping like falling in love with a dress you cannot afford.

A big tip is to browse their site and have a handful of dresses in mind that you would like to try on before your appointment. The appointment is about an hour long and knowing what you want is helpful in maximizing the appointment time. I knew what I wanted and tried on 3 dresses I selected beforehand, and decided on the dress I had been eyeing for weeks online. The dress I chose was so incredible and a fraction of the price I have seen with similar gowns. The quality, craftsmanship and material are lush and I cannot wait to wear it at my winter wedding. i would have NEVER been able to afford/justify purchasing a similar gown if I had gown to another salon.
