NYC Makeup Artist: Sara Jade — Local services in New York

I took Sara’s personal shopper and 1:1 makeup class and it was a such great experience! She helped me find the right shades in foundation, concealer, blush, lipstick. Unlike working with a sales rep/artist at the store (who are great but may try to sell you on products), working with Sara was nice because she was candid in her reviews and there was no incentive to make any purchases. She even shows you how to work with the products you already own. During the lesson portion, she explained the techniques for application and had me practice on half of my face. I learned a bunch of new tips (e.g. easier way to apply eyeliner) to add to my own makeup routine. It was great that it was a hands on experience (opposed to learning from a video) because of the real time feedback.

While it was her first back to back session (shopping and makeup class), I appreciate her adaptability and patience. She was very patient and listened to my concerns and answered my million questions. I loved her energy and she was very knowledgeable about all different makeup aspects.
