Finally got to check out this Photo Booth after hearing so much about it. It’s one of the few analogue booths in the city and uses film, so don’t be surprised if pictures don’t come out the most “quality” compared to digital booths, when you come here you’re coming for the experience of a film photo but be warned the photos can wash you out a bit if you’re fair skinned and may not take a clear photo if you’re darker skinned.
Additionally, there was a bit of a line when we got here, so come early or on a weekday. The booth itself is small, ideal for one or two people max as there’s only one stool. The booth was well maintained and clean though.
Like others have said, I’d recommend being prepared with your poses before you step into the booth, because once you pay it takes photos quickly and as an older machine, there’s no count down. The booth takes Apple Pay or card and you get one strip of 4 photos.
All in all, it was a fun experience and the pictures were very clear for film. I’d come back on a day when it’s not so busy, as the photo strips are a really...
Read moreMy two friends and I visited this photobooth on Sunday. Unfortunately, we had a very frustrating experience. The first time we took photos, we waited about 10 minutes (although wait time says its 3 minutes), but our pictures never printed. Instead, the next group’s photos came out. We decided to try again, and this time i decided to use my card, just incase maybe there was an issue with my friends card and maybe thats why we never received the photos? However, the same issue happened… our photos did not print, and another couple’s photos were printed instead. We waited another 10-15 minutes thinking maybe it will print at some point but others pictures kept printing out instead of ours. It felt so bizarre. In addition, we were charged $8.90 instead of $8, even though the booth only accepts card payments. In total, we were charged twice and never received any photos. We also tried calling the number listed online, but no...
Read moreso much fun and so worth it. Some things to keep in mind if you're going for the first time: we got there exactly at 7pm on a Thursday. The entire experience including waiting in line took exactly 30 minutes if you get in line right where sonnyboy begins on the sidewalk. Once it's your turn, get seated and situated because once you pay you have 3 seconds until the first shot and theres no count down. Eat shot is around 3 seconds in between. You only get one strip per payment so if you're quick you can pay for a second one and do another round in under a minute. It takes around 3-5 minutes for your photos to come out. When it prints, avoid touching the front because it does come out a little wet. Quality is amazing and such a fun activity to do...
