OLYMPIA DUMBO — Local services in New York

The Olympia building might have been great in Las Vegas, Miami Beach or Dubai but definitely not in Dumbo Brooklyn. The building is offensively ostentatious with a massive and opulent lobby more appropriate in a flashy hotel or residence for the fast and furious Ferrari set. The pillars that surround the front are equally ridiculous and tasteless (a Disney like imitation of the Colosseum’s majestic ones) but successfully send the message that pedestrians should not venture near the building and it’s wealthy residents inside. It’s just lacking a big water fountain to complete the picture of a building on garish steroids. Dumbo is a former industrial neighborhood with cobblestone streets and residents who prefer to be discreet rather than showy. Property prices may be sky high but people are understated. What a missed opportunity to add a truly elegant building to this vibrant and growing...

This building has won many awards from prestigious institutions.. And to Mrs. Roberto fisher who left a very negative comment it seems your quite some miserable person based on the other negative comments you left for othe business..
