ONDA Beauty — Local services in New York

It has been a year since I last had a facial here, and today’s facial was by far amazing as always. The aesthetician was impressed that my skin looked as good as it did, but I must say that’s all because of the fabulous products they sell there. The team is super knowledgeable and really takes the time and care to hear your concerns and point you in the right direction as to what will work best. It’s hard for me to make a decision especially when I want to buy all the products, but the best thing is that they are far from pushy and offer you a sample to use if you’re not sure what to get. I always feel welcomed and look forward to going back whether it’s to buy myself something, treat myself to a facial/massage or just to simply say hello and browse what other new goodies they have in stock. It’s a very special place which always leaves me with a spring in my step and a glow that comes from within...

Having grown up in the Village, now living in Paris, I came back for the month of July and thought I would treat myself to the best NYC had to offer in terms of beauty and health treatments. A friend told me about ONDA in Tribeca and I decided to treat myself to what this lovely boutique had to offer. I ended up having the greatest massage and facial I have ever had, buying far too many beauty products and having a simply wonderful time ‘hanging’ in the boutique chatting. I don’t do this all that often but this was well beyond my expectations. I wish I remembered the names of the women who so kindly took care of me but I don’t think you can go wrong at ONDA. STAY AWAY they don't accept returns even if unused and in 30 days. The website states very clearly that you can return items if unused and within 30 days. However, when I went to the Tribeca store with my unused item 2 weeks after purchase, the employee told me they wouldn't accept it unless I had a "compelling reason" like an allergic reaction because her boss doesn't like to accept returns despite what the website says. This store is incredibly unethical and doesn't honor their word on the website. I would never shop here again and warn others to stay away. There are much better beauty/skincare stores like Credo that offer similar and even better products with good return policies and fair...
