we were so fortunate to have found Hana for our wedding in May!

during our initial planning phase, we interviewed a lot of top florists in Manhattan and i wasn't confident in any of them because they either couldn't work with our more modest budget, or seemed disinterested in our wedding because of our budget. finally after our latest choice submitted a lazily put together proposal that didn't capture my vision at all, i found One Flower by L.

our first meeting went great, my fiancé and I felt confident that Hana not only could bring our vision to life, but actually cared. I was a very particular bride, and Hana was able to handle my type A personality and pickiness with grace and a positive attitude. after the sample meeting, she was kind enough to let me come along with her to the flower market and take notes on what i liked.

on the wedding day, my expectations were exceeded beyond belief. when i arrived at our venue at Tavern on the Green, it was like i stepped into a fairytale. I couldn't get over how beautiful the flowers were. The floral arch she created was breathtaking, and was a popular spot for photos all night. the tables were overflowing with gorgeous arrangements and romantic candles. every single one of my guests commented on the beauty of our flowers that night. I can't say enough good things about Hana at One Flower by L. She is a true gem of a florist. It was such a delight working with her. She made me feel like a bride throughout the entire planning process. Also, she is highly knowledgeable in the field. I didn't know much about flowers but had many ideas and Hana was able to explain to me why certain flowers wouldn't work and why other options would be better fit. And I'm so glad I listened to her. For reference, I got married in late July 2019 during the recent heat wave but my flowers did not wither all day and looked immaculate even at the end of the night. In fact, I was able to dry my husband's boutonniere and hang it on my rear view mirror and it still looks just like it did on the day of the wedding. And of course, the bouquets, ceremony arch, garlands, sweetheart table, etc all exceeded my expectations. They were absolutely stunning and UNIQUE! A true piece of art! She incorporated flowers I've never seen and all my guests are STILL talking about how beautiful my wedding/flowers were. Have in mind, I had MINIMAL decorations. We found Hana through our wedding venue's Instagram Stories and she was our top pick for florals. She creates such beautiful pieces and I couldn't recommend her more. We met with her in person to discuss more about our vision for florals - which was similar to something she's created in the past but just slightly different and to our wedding colors. We were able to do a floral trial with her and we were lucky to time it perfectly to our pre-wedding photo shoot so it was perfect to tie in our photos before & during the wedding with the flowers. We originally hired Hana to work on our ceremony arches (ABSOLUTELY STUNNING), bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets and boutonnieres. And for centerpieces, I originally though that I would do them myself but then a few weeks before the wedding, I felt so stressed with everything, that we reached out to Hana to see if she was able to take on the centerpieces as well. THANK GOODNESS she and her team were available because it took a big weight off our shoulders + we had some guests decline so it helped with our budget ;).

Overall, we LOVED the work Hana executed and LOVED working with her. We couldn't recommend her more - I mean.... COME ON look at...
