I came to Pacific Touch as a last resort to address my acne once and for all, the natural way. Little did I know that this was more than just a place to get facials and get rid of your acne. It's the facials, backed by a whole team, with a comprehensive method to discover what is triggering your acne so they can work together with you towards improving your health. I did gut and hormoneĀ testing, I changed the way I eat and sleep, I changed my makeup/hair care, how I think about myself and my skin, I picked up a whole skincare routine (when it was originally nonexistent!), and a bunch of other habits. This is an all-encompassing journey towards healing, and it's not easy, nor is it quick. But I am so grateful for it, and I'm blessed to have Jade as my esthetician. She is utterly kind, with the gentlest hands and a beautifulĀ spirit. I always look forward to our facials. And I always look forward to the podcast too, every Tuesday! I highlyĀ recommend it to anyone dealingĀ with acne, client or not.
On the podcast they talk about achieving "skin freedom," and I used to think that I would get there once my face was fully clear. After many months, I started to get discouraged because theĀ progress was slow or IĀ would still get flares. But I remembered to maintainĀ perspective, that this is a journey, taken one day at a time, and I have Jade to talk to, both during treatments and via email. I've had to review the PT resources multiple times because more often than not, I was still missing a couple key tenets of the treatment protocol, either because I overlooked some things or I wasn't ready to implement a new habit. So now that I am 1.5 years in with PT, my skin has improved a lot. It's more hydrated, glowing, and overall healthier looking, even with my scarring and residual blemishes.Ā Even though I am not 100% clear, I already feel like I achieved skin freedom... which is such a relief!
I'm looking forward to continuing the work; embodied through all of the self-care habits, paying attention to my body's reactions via my skin, and getting facials regularly. I love working with Jade, and I'm sure the other estheticians are also top-notch, as each one was featured on an episode during a series of the podcast and they all seem so lovely! For anyone looking to heal their acne, RUN, don't...

I have been going to Pacific Touch for 4 years and even though my skin is finally clear, I still continue to get facials because I simply cannot imagine my life or my skin without them. Ā Ā Ā Read moreLooking at the reviews I was looking forward to working with Pacific Touch NYC. I wanted to find a place that will help with my acne. I knew that the journey will take time and was ready to make the commitment to the full experience, by purchasing all of the products that were recommended and setting up appointments for monthly facials. Iāve spent about $2k total over the three months (facial and products included), and my skin has gotten worse than when I started, which is very disappointing. When I reached out for support and questions regarding whatās happening with my skin after three months of working with Pacific Touch NYC, Iāve gotten a generic answer āthat everyoneās skin is different and it takes timeā; after my monthly appointments (total of 3) it was disappointing to hear; at this point I was expecting to hear recommendations based on my skin concerns which would be based on us working together for 3 months and seeing how my skin progresses over that period. After that generic response to me sending pictures of my skin and expressing concerns, I havenāt heard back and there was no follow up. This has left me with the following review of my experience: this wasnāt the personal and caring experience that was sold on instagram. I walked through the door and was just a number, that could be sold products each visit with a promise of clearer skin. And when I asked for support or answers to my questions, I was left with a generic answer through email and told to buy more products. And never reached out to again. So in conclusion, I would not recommend this service.
(Update: I wanted to update, since below paragraph from the owner is ironic, given no one has reached out to me since my review and below is not even consistent with my file noted on my skin reactions over the past three months. So I would categorize below as a form of...
