Had an amazing experience at Pamela Barsky's Orchard Street store!

My best friend from Austria was visiting, and we were excited to explore the boutique. Unfortunately, it was closed when we arrived, despite Google showing it as open. I messaged them, and Pamela responded promptly, apologizing for the closure during January.

Here's the exceptional part—Pamela offered to open the store the next day just for us! We were able to shop for souvenirs, and the customer service was beyond impressive. I have been buying the Barsky bags for YEARS - at both Chelsea Market and the Holiday Market. The bags are FUNNY, pertinent, so relatable as a NEWYORKER or...other AWAKE person. Such fun. I have sent them out of the country and second language speakers love the double gift (English and great bag)

They are not CHEAP - but they are small woman owned business art. BUY THEM.

what a great find on orchard street! canvas totes and pouches printed with smart, funny, sassy, thought-provoking sayings (sometimes all of those at once). also totes made from vintage books or t-shirts (fantastic!). the best part is they aren’t just cool, but useful too, and the prices are great....
