Stumbled upon this place after a long night and can honestly say they have one of the best margarita pizzas I ever had. Crust was crunchy, cheese was properly melted, and the sauce was almost too flavorful. I honestly wanted to buy a pie to go when I was done with my slice. On top of that, the owner took money out of his tip jar to cover my tax (slice is $5.43 with tax and I was looking for some quarters when he took the initiative). These random acts of kindness are so rare nowadays. All in all, great service and great food. Will be coming back again if I’m ever in the area.

I can’t stomach cheese well so I’ve been missing out on nyc pizza for a while now. But the vegan slice here is a wonderful substitute and it’s delicious! The dough is crispy and they are generous with the toppings for the vegan city slice. The shiitake and artichoke combo, paired with the sauces on top, is wonderful! I recommend sprinkling garlic powder and hot pepper on top for extra flavor.

Got the vodkarony and this was so good! Had to come by the next day cause of how much I liked it. The place isn’t packed and has a decent amount of seating (which is honestly rare in New York for some reason). They had free public wifi too. Unsure if they had toilets cause I didn’t ask but either way amazing pizza and very good vibes.

My experience could have been better. I placed an order through the Slice app for a Veggie City pizza with added Italian sausage. I added a note to the order that I was ordering the vegan pizza with vegan cheese due to being lactose intolerant; however, regular sausage was fine to add. The Oven’s Slice marked my order as ready in the app at 7:12 pm. I arrive at 7:21. It had not yet gone into the oven. At 7:30, I was presented with a regular cheese pizza, with none of the Veggie City toppings (spinach, artichoke, mushroom, onion, sauce drizzle) and sausage. When I checked the pizza and pointed out that it was wrongly made, I felt like the cashier was a little argumentative. They then remade and re-fired the correct pizza for me. It was 7:49 by the time I left. I wasn’t offered anything for the ~30 minutes I spent waiting for a pizza I should have been late to pick up. When I got home, the pizza was undercooked and quite soggy in the middle, probably because they tried to rush the order. The toppings were high quality and I liked the sauce, but that’s all I can say. 2 stars on account of all the errors and no attempts to “make it right” after wasting 30 minutes...

I stumbled upon this pizza shop while walking through the neighborhood and it instantly won me over. I only meant to grab one slice... but ended up going back in for a second (and seriously considered a third).

The slices are hot, fresh, and have that classic NYC flavor that’s getting harder to find these days. Thin crust, crisp edge, and that cheesy, saucy balance that just melts together perfectly. It’s comfort food at its finest.

I came back later in the week and ordered a whole pie to share with some friends—same great experience. The quality was consistent, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the pizza held up really well even as it cooled.

If you’re in town, do yourself a favor and stop by. It’s the kind of pizza that keeps you...

Had a slice of the truffle pizza this weekend and my girlfriend had the margherita slice. We used to think Rosseau's in Houston was the best, but I have never tasted anything so delicious in pizza ever. The crust was like biting into the outside of a croissant. In the counter, it looked unappetizing, but after a couple of minutes in the oven it was manna from heaven. Next time we are in NYC I think we will have to have one slice of every pie the make. We both regret not getting a second and a third slice before leaving. Now, if you will just start serving Peroni's with it, you need to call the place Heaven. How the fork does someone named Omar know how to make the...
