My experience could have been better. I placed an order through the Slice app for a Veggie City pizza with added Italian sausage. I added a note to the order that I was ordering the vegan pizza with vegan cheese due to being lactose intolerant; however, regular sausage was fine to add. The Oven’s Slice marked my order as ready in the app at 7:12 pm. I arrive at 7:21. It had not yet gone into the oven. At 7:30, I was presented with a regular cheese pizza, with none of the Veggie City toppings (spinach, artichoke, mushroom, onion, sauce drizzle) and sausage. When I checked the pizza and pointed out that it was wrongly made, I felt like the cashier was a little argumentative. They then remade and re-fired the correct pizza for me. It was 7:49 by the time I left. I wasn’t offered anything for the ~30 minutes I spent waiting for a pizza I should have been late to pick up. When I got home, the pizza was undercooked and quite soggy in the middle, probably because they tried to rush the order. The toppings were high quality and I liked the sauce, but that’s all I can say. 2 stars on account of all the errors and no attempts to “make it right” after wasting 30 minutes...

I came back later in the week and ordered a whole pie to share with some friends—same great experience. The quality was consistent, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the pizza held up really well even as it cooled.
If you’re in town, do yourself a favor and stop by. It’s the kind of pizza that keeps you...
Read moreHad a slice of the truffle pizza this weekend and my girlfriend had the margherita slice. We used to think Rosseau's in Houston was the best, but I have never tasted anything so delicious in pizza ever. The crust was like biting into the outside of a croissant. In the counter, it looked unappetizing, but after a couple of minutes in the oven it was manna from heaven. Next time we are in NYC I think we will have to have one slice of every pie the make. We both regret not getting a second and a third slice before leaving. Now, if you will just start serving Peroni's with it, you need to call the place Heaven. How the fork does someone named Omar know how to make the...
