Pet Town — Local services in New York

I went there with my cousin and felt very unwanted, i was told outside by a sweet lady with her dog that the guy inside knows a lot about animals and that he would be great help, went inside & he quickly brushed me off telling me to google it and told me he knows nothing about dogs, he only sells the products. Lied to my very face. I don't know if this is another type of local store, that is only nice to white clientel opposed to latinos and black. WILL NEVER SHOP THERE! I was in there yesterday the lady was very nice and knowledgeable however check the dates on there food I purchase a bag of fancy feast hard food for my cat and the date said 2/28/23 it’s my fault because I always check dates but I was asking for a groomer and got stuck on that but my point is how often to they check there inventory I’m very disappointed because I live in New Jersey so I can’t return for my money back but it’s the first and last time I go...

I went to get some pill pockets and a pen or cage for my cat who had surgery and needed to be contained to keep from jumping or running. The people in the store were so nice and helpful and arranged to have the crate I ended up buying delivered the same night to my fifth floor walk up.
