Pink Nails — Local services in New York

Went yesterday with my daughter to do our nails had a horrible experience there was only two people doing nails we ask the lady that we wanted to do acrylic nails and powder nails . the salon was not busy there was a guy who had a horrible attitude was so rude didn’t ask me anything not even to choose a color or what i wanted to do on my nails. started to take off the color off my nails and i had powder nails he used the drill to take some off and then use a metro card to take the remaining color off and it broke a little off my nail off. I did not see and he did not say anything and did not ask me if i wanted them shorted or leave them like that he rip two of my nails off super short which i did not want it took me a long time for my nails to grow . when i told him that i was not happy that why did he do that he just said my nails were really fragile did not apologize or anything i told him that that how my nails are and that why he didn’t use the regular method with acetone thats how i have always used have never seen a salon in a long time do that i told them i was really upset and then another lady called amanda said that that way was faster no one in the salon apologized at any time for what happens or said they will fix it or anything they were very unprofessional and i did not stay to finish my nails or my daughter the salon was not busy there was only me, my daughter and another lady. And even if there was people i am a paying customer if they had other clients or something then they should say that they can’t take us right now and comeback...

Honestly went because my friend decided to take me here but overall the person that was doing my nails completely ignored me when i told him that one side of my French tip was longer then the other, on one nail and dismissed me when he could’ve fixed it. I showed him again because it was bothering me and he was being rude about what I said. These people ALSO do not give you a manicure before adding the gel powder on your nails, so the outside of my nails are dirty and they just look painted..... This nail salon is pretty wierd with pricing, before you get anything done you must ask for every exact thing you are getting, they charge 2$ to cut your nails when the entire point was to get your nails done, it’s insane, ALSOOO, the transaction for credit is charged which is 6$ but even if you swipe once they charge for every person that was on the card, my card was swiped once but me and my friend paid 12$ for the credit transaction itself!!!!! I didn’t realize this until I got home. For my friend she got a GEL POWDER REFILL and they charged her 5$ for the removal of the gel powder to paint them again.... never in my life have I seen a charge for powder removal unless you are getting a regular manicure after but usually, they don’t charge you for the removal of gel if you’re getting a refill. these people just want to take your money, and for the first time here I’m never going back, they add money out of nowhere!!!! You ask them the price at the beginning and they come up with a different...

Their service could be good sometimes but rarely. I had a new lady doing my pedicure and it was rushed half my toes have no nail polish on it. My nails always have a few missing parts of nail polish. The worst time was when I was getting my acrylics. I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted. She looked at the wall with nail polish on it and ran back and hit me on the shoulder so she can see the picture again. I asked for an almond shape and I got a really ugly one until my mom asked her to fix it. My nails were supposed to be a ombré from a nude color to white sparkles. Some of my nails just had a just a straight line and not a fade affect dividing white and the nude pink. I had a scab on my finger and she drilled that finger the most until it started to bleed. During my manicure I turned around to my mother to show her if she liked it and the lady doing my nails told me to stop and told me to turn around when my nails were in-front of her and I was still. My acrylics fell out in less than 1/2 weeks. The two ladies that are nice is Lucy and another young lady. The young lady usually does my manicures and pedicures the best she knows how to start conversations and keep me satisfied. Lucy usually does my moms nails and they always turn...
