UPDATE: 8/17/24 Prada sent me a brand new shoebox, but it’s smaller and barely fits my boots unless I smash the lid down with a rubber band. I know some of you will understand how important the designer box that your item comes in, so this isn’t a petty issue to me.
Will not be shopping with Prada ONLJNE if I have to deal with their customer service. Ugh so frustrating how they kept giving me the run around of ignoring my emails.
My issue and complaint is with my online order. I chose this location because it was shipped from New York.
I ordered Prada boots online and received a dirty, used, oil stain spots all over and wrinkled used tissue paper Prada box. The top of the Prada box even had a box cutter scratch across the Prada logo. For the amount of money I spent on these boots, I can't believe they sent me this Prada box in this used return looking condition. But my Prada boots were in new condition w no flaws.
It has been over 2 weeks now and I am still getting the runaround from customer service. I even called them and the lady was not nice brushing me off.
What was supposed to be an exciting purchase has now been so frustrating because I haven’t worn these boots yet. I didn't want to in case I had to return these boots back if I wasn't getting a replacement box. So my beautiful boots have been sitting inside the box all this time now!! Ugh…..
I have always had excellent t customer service IN STORE at Prada. But this is the worst online order experience I've ever had, and I am shocked since it's from a well known designer company. Honestly, I would be hesitant to order on Prada online again.
Why can't you guys just send me a new replacement Prada box and tissue...
Read moreWas relatively pleased with my experience in the store however they did not have the size I needed in the store. They said they would ship it to me and that is where everything went wrong. I was provided a tracking number and told I should receive my purchase in two days. Two days later I got home from work and saw a missed delivery sticker from UPS. When I scanned it for an update it said the next planned attempt would be the next day at the exact same time. I called UPS and informed them on week days between 11-3 I am always at work and would like to see if it could be delivered in the evening. They informed me they could not make any changes and normally after 3 missed attempts I could pick it up at the UPS hub but that was not allowed for this shipment. If I missed all three delivery attempts it would be returned to the sender and all I could do was call Prada and ask to be allowed to pick up my package at the hub. I called the store and explained the situation and the employee told me they use to allow changes to the shipping but no longer will do that so if I was not able to be home in the middle of a weekday I would just have to wait for it to be sent back to them then they would reach out to me about trying to reship the purchase that I already paid for. This is terrible customer service. To not offer any options or solutions shows very little care about your clients. At this point I’m considering calling back and asking for a refund and going to a different store that has better customer service. Read moreWent today to look at a bag I have been eyeing for a long time. I wanted to finally see it in person. Since my boyfriend and I were in the neighborhood we decided to stop by this location. We walked in and immediately was assigned to an employee. I knew what I wanted, but I also wanted to look around. The employee took me to where the bag I wanted was in the back of the store. While feeling out the bag.. I ask the price, he stated that the Prada re edition 2005 bag with the leather strap. (Not with the shoulder long strap) was $2,100 which was not true. I have done research on this bag for months and couldn’t decide if whether I wanted the Cammeo beige or the Desserto beige. I asked about the Cammeo beige and if the colors are similar. He didn’t answer the question. Instead, he says “this is all I have.” He then began to push how “nice it looks” and was looking for me to pull the trigger on the bag immediately. I reach for my boyfriend to tell him we should come back another day to discuss buying the bag. The moment I said that, the employee completely disregarded us and left. As if we were no longer worth his time. I told my boyfriend that the employee was trying to sell the bag +1,000 more than the retail list on the prada website. I understand there is a full leather re edition verison of the bag which is $2,100 however, that is not the one I wanted nor held in the store. We quickly left and now I will never return.
