I needed a doctor referral from Dr. Lau, I got one the last time I asked. This time was told I needed to see doctor before allowed to get a referral, after waiting for 1 hour was ushered in waiting room, was asked why I needed to see eye doctor. What if I was going to gyn, what if I thought I was pregnant, or had an uti, or a wart,is it necessary to grill patient, I was then told it would be another 20 minutes. All for a doctors referral. It seems rather extreme and invasive. I explained I had to go to work, I already cxled work,which I’m not paid for to go to eye doctor. His assistant told me ball is in your park, nice to speak to a patient like that. I had to leave.Now I have no referral, had to cxl my appt.Lost out on wages for the day. Additionally if you have lab work, be prepared to wait. It took me over 2 weeks to get results last time, pharmacy renewal , same. Only call during office hours. They do not check there answering machine,which in 2025 is pretty incredulous. I use liked Dr. Lau but his office is run unprofessionally. Dr. Lau use to work 1 day in Brooklyn, 1 day in L.I. ,I’m glad he’s doing so well, and doesn’t give a s—— abt. Old patients. I called 3 doctors offices today to see if you need to see a doctor in order to get a referral.. They all said no. What hubris to waste someone’s time and money, and decide who you decide to give a doctors referral to, how long your going to waste someone’s time. Maybe the Trump effect has...

Dr. Lau is our family doctor for many years. So happy that he has an office in NYC now. He is always professional, knowledgeable and caring. He takes time to listen to your concerns and thoroughly explains any diagnosis or treatment options. He also has a great personality!

Office itself is clean, brand new and well equipped. Stuff is kind and efficient, making the appointment scheduling a breeze. If you someone like myself on green card or not even, you can also discuss the options with him. Don’t make your paperwork’s stop you from being healthy and check on your health situation.

I highly recommend Dr. Lau to anyone in need of knowledgeable and compassionate family doctor. He truly goes above and beyond to provide an exceptional care and we are so grateful to have him as our family...

Well Dr Raymond lau he really took his time listening to my health issues was very attentive and very concerned about my issues I really loved the way he explained what he was going to do, and what kind of blood tests I was going to have and explained everything in details he really takes time to listen and doesn't rush you out .he is very friendly kind and really cares about what medication he is going to prescribed to his patients he is a Dr who cares, in the well-being of his patients...
