Pizza School NYC was given to me as a birthday gift because pizza is one of my favorite foods. I've dabbled in the past with making my own, but never with any real success. Until now. Let me say that this was a great experience and I was skeptical of the online format. But I was wrong. Jenny and Mark are truly wonderful. From my needing flexibility on when I could attend to pulling my first pie out of the oven, they were simply amazing. While Jenny keeps the trains moving on time and answering questions behind the scenes, Mark is charismatic, knowledgeable and a genuinely good teacher. I made four pies and while none were perfect (my fault), I have the foundation to build. My wife said that these were the best pizzas we've had since being in Rome! I don't think I'd go that far, but she said that we will now have one night a week be family pizza night! I think that's a resounding vote of confidence and a testimony to the quality of the online education. I had a smile on my face after the three hours spent with Jenny & Mark, and even though it was online, I felt connected, heard and now educated. I'm going to be giving Pizza School NYC gift certificates to three families that I know that love pizza as much as I do, and I simply can't wait for the world to return to normal in 2021 to be able to take the class in person! Thank you Jenny & Mark. For those of you on the fence, don't be. This is an amazing experience, and is money and time well spent.

My husband and I have done 4 cooking classes already this year, and this was our FAVORITE! The pizza was shockingly delicious and the class size of ~12-15 people was perfect. It was the quickest four hours of our lives; the time flew by and we didn't want it to end! Our chef, Ricky, was such a personality and such a talented teacher. We got to try the three bases: NYC classic, Margherita, and White, then build 4 entire pizzas of our own. We went for another Margherita (delicious), a sundried tomato and balsamic, a spicy "angry" pizza, and a white with hot honey. We had plenty of leftovers for the next day too. I love how they send you a guide after the class with everything that you learned so you can actually make pizza after the class and not worry about taking notes or committing the steps to memory during the class. Fabulous time! Such a great memory.

What a great time!!! We came to New York for pizza. We tried 21 places in 72 hours! NYC Pizza School was one of three highlights of our trip! (The other two were Scott’s Pizza Tour (Thank you Jenny for the suggestion) and an impromptu behind the scene private tour at Kesté.) Mark was incredibly knowledgeable and obviously loved being with the people and teaching about pizza. He mixed humor with instruction and even had a cymbal (among other props) for rimshotting his own jokes. He was wonderful! Our four hours flew by! We were pleasantly surprised that they offered beer and wine! We took advantage of this offering. Claudio and Eduardo were very helpful and pleasant. Thank you guys! And a huge THANK YOU to Jenny for getting us in and accommodating our group of four! This was top notch experience! Five Stars! Thank you all!!

Whether you're looking to learn how to replicate your favorite pizzeria at home, or just have a few hours of fun with friends, this place is the ticket.

I bought this class as part of a pizza themed Christmas for my wife, a displaced NY/NJ girl in Texas. Funny thing ... I mentioned it to an old friend of mine (also a Texan who grew up in NJ) and he told me that he'd sent a friend to this same place ... and it was a phenomenal experience. We certainly concur after our four hours here with a few other couples and groups.

First, these guys know their pizza. Seriously. They talk flour, tomatoes, cheese, oven temperatures, tools -- you name it, They've been in the business of tossing pizza pies, and they love pizza themselves.

My favorite takeaway from this class is my newfound ability to make classic NY-style pizza in my home oven in Houston! Of course, I can pretty much order any ingredient I want online, but we learned in this class that we really don't have to.

All of the new knowledge aside, our experience here was just ... fun. The staff was friendly, helpful and quite humorous (in addition to being pizza experts), and the class provided us an opportunity to meet, learn and eat pizza with people from all over the...

I've made pizzas at home for years, but it's never been quite right. After this class, I now know how to bang out incredible pizza at home...better than most pizza I'll ever get out (and that's saying a lot in NYC)!

The class was super-informative in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. FUN is the operative word! Instruction is excellent, the facility is really, really unique, and hey! You're learning how to make awesome pizza!

GO! You'll be thrilled!

One year follow up I'm still making pizza and I'm proud to say they get better and better as time goes on. Pizza School NYC set the foundation for me to continue learning and refining my pizza skills. The more research I do, the more I appreciate how our class set the stage correctly. In the time after your class, you may explore the how's and why's of fermentation, the beauty of time and how it plays an important role in improving fermentation, the quirks and handicaps to be overcome in a home oven...yeah, you'll maybe decide to explore all of this and more. But you'll rely on the fundamentals you learned in this class throughout your learning and exploration process.

I can't say it...
