The people seemed very nice, but I got 6 cupcakes and they were dry as all get out. My dad and I both ate two cupcakes there and all 4 were the same. I brought the rest home and didn't even eat them. I basically just wasted more than $20 for no reason.

The cupcake seemed either to be a couple of days old or the recipe was just... Not followed. It seemed more so that they were old though because when you'd go to peel the wrapper off, all the frosting crumbled and fell that was touching the wrapper and half of the cupcake was stuck TO the wrapper. The frosting was covered in a layer of sugar that wasn't enjoyable, either. It made the icing crunchy and weird.

We made a mess all over the table (that we cleaned up with those tiny napkins that just pushed it around, mostly) just from him sharing a PIECE of cupcake with me, because as I went to pick up the piece, it just... Crumbled in mid air until I was holding icing.

I regrettably took another piece (squishing the cake together so I could pick it up) and took a bite and ended up choking on it because it was dry and a piece went down the wrong pipe... And I was coughing for 10-15m after that. the folks hanging behind the counter didn't even notice.

I'm sad because my friends recommended it for me and my dad (visiting from out of town) for his birthday and I feel like I wasted my money because we got 5 different flavors (2 cupcakes were the same flavor) and every one of them was disappointingly dry like this, but the ooey gooey was the worst. Like... Powder.

I ended up going to supermoon and spending too much there because I wanted to have a good experience after the not so great one and knew it'd at...

So I've been visiting this place for about 7 years. I don't always come by but when i DO, it's usually repeated visits until i literally have to cut myself off. This place is addictive and you can easily pack on the calories. Lol. This place is legit that good.

The first thing i recommend is PUDDINGS. Banana pudding has to be their top seller. Its delicious and creamy. The villa wafers are so goood in the pudding as well. I also recommend their chocolate chip pudding. Its my favorite. It tastes like caramel pudding with a bunch of crushed up chocolate chip cookies. Its REALLY good. They have multiple different flavors but i havent ventured off from the banana, chocolate chip and chocolate bon bon one.

They have bkft cakes like coffee cake, apple cake and pistachios. Its REALLY good. Thick, flavorful and goes well with coffee. I have tried ALL THREE.

They have so many different cupcakes. I personally am not a fan of frosting on cupcakes and this place doesnt layer it on too thick. Its just enough. The cake it always flavorful and spongey which i love. The pumpkin and chocolate red velvet cupcakes are my favorite.

This bakery also has hot coffee, hot tea and also serves both iced as well. They have a refrigerator with bottles of water and other beverages as well. I love the decor and set up here as well. Feels welcoming and homelike.

The owner is the sweetest and i really appreciate the staff here. They are always helpful and answer my millions of questions. Long story short, come HEREEEEEE! YOU won't...

I went here for the first time yesterday night, just passing through. Initially my cousin and I, looked at the board thats outside. Read it and decided to not go in and kept walking. But then we stopped and changed our minds and we decided to go back. That was the best decision we made by far! Since we were in a celebratory mood, we decided to get cupcakes for the birthday girl, my cousin's bday. First look at the the display through the glass window there's an array of cupcakes with fun names with the description of its ingredients. I went straight for the strawberries and cream cupcake with the white frosting and confetti topping. In all we ended up with a box of 6 cupcakes and we bought candless too!. We ordered 2 Oreo, the sexy red velvet, strawberries and cream, pistachio and one more that I didn't catch the name of. We also ordered a cup of banana pudding. Everything looked so good, and the cupcakes tasted even better!. It was decandant, moist, and full of flavor. Also the frosting was super light and fluffy. I ended up taking 2 and giving the birthday girl the rest. I actually just tried to Oreo this morning and its now my second favorite cupcake after the Strawberries and Cream. I will be definately be coming back for future purchases for holidays , celebrations and when I'm in need of a sweet tooth fix. Definately recommending this bakery to everyone I know! Can't wait to stop by again!, which will be very soon!

Also the staff is super sweet and awesome...

Sugar Sweet Sunshine Bakery is a sold 2.5-3 stars out of 5. We were excited to order from here and purchased quite a few things to try: So, here’s what we got and what we thought of it: A yum yum bar - chocolate and raspberry bar - sounds a lot tastier than it was. It comes prepackaged so I’m not sure when it was made but it’s a bit dry and something was off about it. Sunshine cupcake: this is just a plain vanilla store-bought type cupcake - no filling - nothing special about the buttercream or cake itself. Not super moist, and just okay. Lemon yummy: Same. It was a cupcake. The lemon flavor was artificial. We’ve made lemon cupcakes with freshly squeezed lemons. This was not that and also no filling also. Flan: We typically love flan when it’s made right. This wasn’t. This also comes pre-pacakaged. It was missing any syrup and that egg-y caramelized wonderfulness. It was just dense and lacking flavor. Banana Pudding: This is the only thing we would order from here again. It was tasty and a classic banana pudding. Strawberry Lemon Trifle: We had high hopes for this one but this pudding definitely wasn’t as good as the banana pudding. Sugar cookie: Don’t throw this at anyone. It was hard as a rock. Literally. It was inedible and I took a bite and wasn’t sure if I was tasting my tooth - either way, it had no flavor.
