I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grand Street Pizza, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped foot inside the cozy establishment, I knew I was in for a treat.

Let's start with the star of the show: the pizza. Grand Street Pizza truly lives up to its name by serving some of the best pizza in the neighborhood. The crust was perfectly crispy, thin and full of flavor. The sauce was rich and tangy, and the cheese was perfectly melted and gooey.

One aspect that sets Grand Street Pizza apart is the friendly and welcoming staff. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The employees were attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions I had about the pizza. Their passion for pizza and dedication to providing exceptional service was evident throughout my entire visit, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

The cozy bar scene at Grand Street Pizza added an extra layer of charm to the overall ambiance. It felt like a place where locals and visitors could come together to unwind, share stories, and enjoy delicious food and drinks. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it an ideal spot to catch up with friends or even strike up a conversation with fellow pizza enthusiasts.

In conclusion, Grand Street Pizza is a gem in the heart of NYC. With its delectable pizza, friendly staff, and cozy bar scene, it offers an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a local resident or a tourist exploring the city, a visit to Grand Street Pizza is a must. I can confidently say that I will be returning to savor their mouthwatering pizza time...

Grand Street Pizza is a small pizza spot squeezed into Grand Street. the interior is essentially a classy cozy beer / wine bar serving up a small variety of pizzas by the slice or pie. first time i stopped in here, it was right before closing and i snagged the last plain slice--the pizza is really on the thinner side of thin crust pizza. there was a lot of flop to the crust (will chalk this up to it being last slice) but the flavors were on point: a balanced tomato and garlic sauce underneath the melted layer of mozzarella atop crust made for that satisfying savory cheesy carb bite that you want in a slice. went back to GSP another day, got another plain slice and the crust was way firmer with just a little flop. the fresh slice still had all the flavors i enjoyed the first time around but on a firmer crispier thin crust. a single slice, here, is more like a snack which is what i wanted. service was friendly and quick bother times around. interior seating is like 7-8 at the bar and two small tables. there's some sidewalk seating, too. great spot to postgame some calories after shopping at the nearby Trader Joe's which is less than...

EDIT: Grand street pizza reached out to apologize and invited me back for dinner + complimentary wine, which was very nice of them! We dined indoors for the first time. The pizza was super fresh and much tastier than the one we received last time. However, I cannot fully recommend dining indoors due to the max-volume hockey game and the two homeless people who came inside and bothered us for money while we were eating.

I live nearby so I always come to this pizza spot. However, my last experience was very disappointing. I placed an order in person for a pie at 4:15pm and was told to return around 5:20 to pick it up. Then, when I came at 5:20 they informed me the pizza was not ready and that I had told them I wanted it for 6:20(?), which was strange because they seemed very accusatory. Then, they told me I could come back in 20 minutes for it. When I came back exactly 20 minutes later, the pizza was cold and like it was sitting outside for a while. Zero apologies and they also never called my phone number which they had noted on the ticket

Not sure what happened but they just lost a...

I hit up Grand St. Pizza while on a short holiday in NYC. I arrived around 9pm and sat in at the bar, first thing I noticed was how nice and talkative the staff were. The place was kept really nice and there was brilliant rock music playing on the speakers. I ended up getting two slices of pizza and a pint, thinking I'd have a quick bite and head on my way but ended up getting chatting to the bar staff. I can't recall his name but he was convinced he poured the best pint of Guinness in NYC, while I had my doubts I had to know for sure and alas, I was proven wrong. I had genuinely the best pint of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland in Grand Street and ended up staying here all night. I have to say all the staff are lovely and gave me plenty of recommendations for places to see around the city that would have been missed otherwise. Thanks a million to the guys at Grand Street for being so sound and starting my holiday off strong!

If I could give this spot 6 stars, I would. I eat a lot of pizza and have a lot of favorites in the City. This place is among them...but it's more than just the pizza itself that raises Grand Street Pizza among the rest. This place is a vibe. It is the kind of pizza spot where you could end up staying for a while chatting it up and enjoying good grub. The music, the staff, the drinks: everything is on point. Clay & Rico are class acts, New York natives and pizza experts. And Hannah will keep you refreshed at the bar. It's a tiny spot (note that if you're coming during peak hours), but that actually makes it feel even more special. But then there's the pizza - it's amazing. I went with the sopressatta and hot honey, and my only regret is having room for only one slice today. Can't wait for my next visit!
