The level of customer service must be an all time low because i walked in to this store after being told to go to a spectrum store to discuss my open balance issue (account was 296.00 and it was from 2022- i moved out the apartment the service was in December 2021). So the lady on the phone told me to go to a store show proof that i had no long been living at that address and see what happens. I walk in (made an appointment) & i was “welcomed” by this older lady who then proceeded to tell me oh your name isn’t on the screen. I give her my appointment confirmation print out. After explaining my ENTIRE situation (open balance, collections, credit score issue) she goes oh we just handle sales you have to call the billing department to get that fix. Im telling her they told me to come to the store. She goes well here is the billing department number. I proceed to call in front of her because i was not going to leave when i wasn’t being fully helped plus if they tell me to go back to a store im already inside.
After the first few minutes i was on the phone the same lady wrote on the sheet the account number and a security code. She then proceeded to take her cashier draw and receipts and LEAVE. Like literally WALKED AWAY AND NEVER RETURNED. No follow up no nothing. There were 2 other gentlemen there who did absolutely nothing and didn’t offer to check to see if i needed any additional help. Where to some this may seem nothing but for me where this issue has caused my credit to be hit it was a big issue. For the representative i originally spoke with to NEVER COME BACK…it’s unacceptable.
I’ve never experience someone walk off and never return to check to see if the lady on the phone was even able to help. She did not care about me nor my situation. It goes to show i will never be a spectrum user again until this situation not only gets resolved but future customers do not experience what i did.

Read moretheyre like a corporation that forgets where their money comes from. how many banks have you walked into with 6+ teller windows with only 1-2 people working it? well today this spectrum store, in this grand complex with target and trader joes, has 6 stations with only one worker. so we made an appointment and were there on time only to find we have to wait on line. eh? that part about where there money comes from... time is money, our time, our money. so i am complaining about the situation with the person i went there with only have the one worker manning the station stop doing whatever she was doing with the customers she was serving to ask me "do i have a problem" i said just keep pushing those buttons so you can finish with your current case so you can make us whole. she kept focusing on my private conversation and power tripping saying she doesnt have to serve me. i think i will go with verizon, better technology albeit customer service can be annoying as well... but with better technology and product you would have to deal with customer service less. SPECTRUM IS TRASH WITH...
Read moreI live around the corner from the store so i decided to go in person today 4/9/2025 at 1:50pm looking to install free Internet for my apartment since spectrum is giving free internet who is resident in Nycha . The associate name Aida Rodriguez told me she can’t help me and that this procedure is over the phone and to call she would provide me with the number only . I told her that I knew somebody who had came yesterday and another associated did their procedure with no problem . She continued to say no that they don’t do that in store and that she won’t do it to go to another associate if I want too but that I’m gonna get the same respond . This lady was pointing at another associated who was just finished with a customer and this associates also looked like she didn’t want to help looking away covering her face with her hair and on her phone . I’m so disappointed on this whole situation because they didn’t even make an effort to help . Horrible...
