I am a 12-year biracial (Black and White) girl. I walked into the store to look at the press-on nail selection. Before I went to the register to pay for the 2 items I wanted, I picked up an empty claw clip package to look at it and put it back on the shelf. After I paid, I went to a different store. When I was coming back from that store, I passed by Red Apple Discount. A grown man approached me and demanded me to go back in the Red Apple Discount store. I felt threatened and uncomfortable and I said no, I don’t want to go back in the store with you. The woman who worked at the register came out and accused me of not paying for a claw clip. She showed the camera footage. In this footage, I was putting my phone back in my waist band. Although it was absolutely clear that it was my phone, she kept saying that it was a claw clip when it was my phone. She kept pressuring me to admit that I stole the claw clip.
