Terrible just terrible. I went there with my friend and we ordered hummus and they gave us bread that was cold and not warm. We heard a couple next us complaining they're food with shrimp and falafel wasn't properly cooked. At that moment we should of notice this wasn't the place to eat at. We told both waiter several times the bread is cold everytime brought another one out and we just stop complaining and they wouldn't understand. Then our main dish came out, he order fish and I ordered baby lamb. Both our meals wasn't well cooked. His fish wasn't cooked properly and it was too salty. My baby lamb wasn't properly cooked and the soup around it was cold. The Air conditioner (AC) was on and it was making my food even more colder. We then asked them that they needed to turn it off and the waiters said he couldn't do that. It took them about fifteen minutes for them to get us two glasses with ice for our drinks. I felt sick after eating that baby lamb dish and I told them I don't want it and complain to them about the food and the waiter didn't do nothing about it . I'll tell you this I'm never coming here again and they only cater to their friends and give them all the service they want. I've warned a lot of my family and friends about this place. STAY COMPLETELY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY, TIME, AND ESPECIALLY...
Read moreI visit Le Sajj Constantly. It has been my favorite restaurant for the last 10 years. I traveled Almost 2 hours on the subway just for their Kibbeh Nayyeh. Ingredients are high quality, the food is exquisite, thoughtful service. When I moved to New York one of the first things I searched was where to eat the best Kibbeh Nayyeh, and after reading a bunch of reviews Le Sajj seemed to be the place, And it was! AND IT STILL IS! I love almost everything in their menu. The negative reviews are incomprehensible for me and since Ive been visiting them for 10 years now I can say many of them even sound malicious and based on false statements. If you want have authentic and delicious lebanese food or just an unforgettable gastronomic experience, visit Le Sajj. If you don't like Le Sajj, you deserve to go to those new trendy restaurants that taste just like the one on the next corner qnd taste just like all the rest. Le Sajj is a fine class of it's own. Thank you LeSajj for keeping that lost tradition of consistently delicious food at affordable prices and a...
Read moreYesterday we took my little sister here for her graduation dinner.
Food: The food was horrible, what they served us tasted like dried, and cold left overs from 3 days ago. My brother who will eat everything, and always cleans his plate left most of his food. Maybe this is a good place to smoke seehsa/hookah and have some wine but go elsewhere for food.
Service: The food came out slow, and it came out 1 person at a time with huge gaps in between, and the worst part is that they forgot about 1 order, so we ended up cancelling that order. With 6 people and a relatively empty place you would expect them to at least remember all the orders.
Staff: Waiters were polite, but may help to retrain them so they can count how many orders they have to deliver per table. I think that's the least of their problems.
Overall, we won't be going back here. You should expect a positive review after this one from a staff member with a Arab sounding name as that seems to be the partern for them on here and it's what fooled us into thinking this place...
