Met Foodmarkets of Bay Ridge - Brooklyn — Local services in New York

I shopped here a couple of times, due to the fact that this was one of the closest markets in the neighborhood. The service is extremely terrible! The produce section could be a bit better and the meat section...for get it! It's horrific! It is small with limited options! They run out quickly and they take too long to replenish. Do not even think of asking to use the restroom if you are in dire need....you will be turned away!!!! If you want to shop for any spices at your leisure, you will not have that luxury as you will have to stop by the check out counter, as this is where they are kept!! How Inconvenient!! You have to hold up the line in order to pick or choose which spices you need or want!! My husband was in need of a restroom and was RUDELY told that he could not use it by the Cashier! After being told that he could use the facilities by an employee, who told my husband to go to the cashier for the key...she refused to give it to him!!!!! I have never experienced such poor customer service!! I would not recommend with market for my friends nor...

I don't understand how they leave out so much rotten produce, no matter what season. The meat looks sad and suspect. And everything is overpriced. $7.99 for a half gallon of Horizon organic milk with the DHA and Omega 3 in it. I've been there 3 times total (it's convenient)... but I can't go back anymore because I felt judged by the Asian lady ringing up my stuff. They take EBT, but with some sort of condescending attitude. So, yeah. F this place and the people in it. Also, the store is old and dingy and terribly outdated. I didn't know Met had such...

Use to enjoy shopping here- very close to my home and convenient. However will NOT be going back. Last trip I came home only to find that majority of the things I purchased were bad- moldy bad or melted bad. Absolutely not- when it comes to food everything should be fresh. On top of the fact that they have specialty store prices but no specialty foods. If your going to charge $4 for blackberries, I would prefer them not to have mold on them....
