It’s by far the worst customer service experience with any company, ever! I ordered a king bed and a queen bed in July 2023. As of today, I still only have a king bed frame without slats - my mattress sitting on temporary frames I ordered from Amazon. The first three scheduled delivery were cancelled the day before the confirmed schedule via a text, no explanation. William Sonoma claims it will only delivery when everything is ready for the entire order. However, the next three showed up with random piece of my order, one with only the king bed frame, no queen bed; one with only the queen bed, no king bed. I called customer service many times, I filed a complaint on the customer service portal of the company website. The only response i ever got was when I posted on William Sonoma’s instagram and someone PM me “please send your order number and someone will contact you.” No one! I have talked to 7-8 customer service representatives. Each one had different information about what happened to my order and said whatever I was told by the previous representative was wrong. After I insisted on speaking to a supervisor, Lisa Hoops assured me that she would be personally monitoring my order and giving me updates. But Ms Hoops has since being MIA, not responding to my emails or phone calls. After the last attempted delivery on January 6 of another incomplete order, a customer service agent filed an official claim for me and assured me that someone will contact me within 24 hours. It’s been two weeks - no contact and no reply to my inquiry! It’s unbelievable the level of lack of services and lack of responsibility since July 2023! Read moreI am flabbergasted that this company is the sister company of Williams Sonoma!! I have never had a worse experience involving customer service!! I ordered lights over my kitchen island waited approximately a month for them to arrive.. not too bad I was not home when they arrived but I saw through my camera that I was minus a box. When I called customer service that I have a pendant missing she insisted that I was delivered all the boxes. I told her that I have a video of the delivery and they were only two tall boxes with two pendants in them. She told me that she was going to do me a "customer favor" and order me a new pendant. I asked her to please call me back and expedite as I was having an electrician come in and install all the lighting in a brand new home. The next day I called her back and I was told by another person that she did put the order in but I would have to wait the full 4 to 6 weeks. I asked to speak to a supervisor no one has ever called me back. I have called approximately four times. They just lost a customer I would never order from this company again just because of the customer service. Read moreWorse in-store costumer service. First, they are lazy to check for in-store availability of items and feel bothered when you ask whether they have an item in stock. Second, when you purchase they fail to check the item in the box is the item you actually paid for. You go home to find out you didn’t get what ypu paid for, and call the store. They say they will call you back but never do until you call them three days in a row. When they finally call you back, they give you the option to pay full price for the item, and have no clue the item is on sale - both in the store or online. You have to teach them math, and then you have to repeat your email and mailing address 20 times. They either need hearing aids or have to learn how to spell.
