i have purchased MUCH oil paint from Robert. Actually i bought one of the last 50 lb lots of Flemish white pigment, Walnut oil for medium, and a binder. i say the Last of Flemish white. The Brothers that created this pigment, in Belgium, i believe, have passed, and either did not have anyone to pass the business onto, or failed to write the formula and method. In any event, someone would have to play around a lot with the process to recreate this beautiful lead white pigment. i rarely use another white, and its only if i need a WHITE white. i avoid titanum white like the plague as it cracks in time, no matter what you do.

Robert and the team have really high quality materials at a good price. I absolutely love many of his colors, vermillion red, eqyptian violet, trans blue, and the quina violet(red), and he also has great mediums and oils like cold pressed safflower oil and spike oil and this amazing stuff like goop.
