I have never seen a place with such bad customer service. I called the salon to see if they had any last minute appointments for a manicure with no polish. They did not answer, but immediately texted me saying "for appointments, please text us", in which I did. I scheduled an appointment for that day at 4:45PM, left work early to make it on time. WHen I got there, they told me they have no one scheduled under my name, that I must be at the wrong salon. I then went to all the russian sa,ons in the area while I profusely called the number I was texting with. After 45 minutes of walking around the city, they finally answered. Turns out, I was at the right place, the person just never put me in the schedule. They then told me they gave it to someone else and they cannot service me. After 20 minutes of arguing back and forth, they finally agreed to have someone service me. Because the technician did such a great job, I decided to give this place another chance, bad idea. I scheduled a pedicure for both me and my boyfriend. My boyfriend was called into work for tomorrow last minute, so I called the salon, fully respecting their cancellation policy and asked to just switch the service from a pedicure to a manicure for myself. They agreed, and I thought everything was fine.
2 HOURS LATER, they call me saying I can't do both mani/ pedi at the same time so they are going to cancel my appointment and still charge me a cancellation fee.
I explained to her I will not be paying it. You will just lose a customer and the cost for 2 services. Then she said OK send me proof of the bad experience you had the first time and Ill speak to the manager. Why does the burden fall on me to go through my text messages from weeks ago when this is all due to organization...
Read moreI booked a session with Danista yesterday after a great experience with another technician on a previous visit. I requested a French manicure and was informed by Danista it would be $15 extra, which I agreed to. Throughout the appointment (took 2 hours in total), she was constantly on her phone, texting and FaceTiming. While Iâm usually easygoing, I hoped she would still focus on delivering good results. Unfortunately, she cut my cuticles so carelessly with a drill bit that I started bleeding on two nails (see pics) and was in obvious pain the entire time, which she completely dismissed. For the base of the French manicure, I initially didnât like the pinkish shade she suggested and asked for a creamier option. When applied, the second option was almost transparent, showing the white part of my natural nails. When I pointed this out, she called the receptionist and blamed me for choosing that base. To fix it, she applied a creamier top coat, which slightly improved the look, but still, the $120 I paid was not worth it. The salon itself is nice, but this experience was disappointing enough that I wonât...
