Sadowsky Guitars — Local services in New York

Today, March 6th 2025 at around 2:30 PM I went to check out a few Sadowsky basses in the show room in LIC. I called the phone written on the street entry door and to my surprise after I introduced myself as a prospective customer I was asked rudely "What do you want?" - Du-uh - this question shouldn't be in the vocabulary of a show room employee. I have no idea why this guitar fabricators are renting a show room, that is not accessible to customers during posted work hours, and on top of that, they hire people who don't want to do the easiest job in the world - buzzing the entry door and showing the guitars they are supposed to show and making a sale (closing a sale is not an easy job, at all). I will not waste my time going to Sadowsky guitars show room again, nor will my friends. Very disappointed since I was planning this visit...

I stopped by to check out their world renowned basses, they very kindly offered me some water and the opportunity to play all the basses I wanted for as long as I wanted to. The front desk guy, Peter, was incredibly helpful and led me on a tour around the place.
