The Crispy Duck Wrap! Everything is supa fresh, with the best taste for your little buds. This is a small spot in a funky neighborhood an they sure know how to make the most of it. There keeping it real nah mean. The staff is cool and COVID safe, practicing masks an all dat. They have much love for making fire star dishes. I gots me da international fried rice, face it I’m an international Man just keeping it real an needed a meal to represent my mixed race face. Dis rice dish makes the globe unite in ya mouth Son! Crispy chicken, tasty fried eggs, goodness down to every rice grain. You may wanna do a little arm dance to show your happiness that’s in your head while you eat this amazing food. Keep this place in your mind when you need that funky fresh flavor aka FFF all day an such. Also the atmosphere is chill and so in the guava drank. You for real not been to dis spot, then the time has come to make it happen no joke. You eat food right? You want good food yes? Then put on your eating pants and get full in style. This is BK Love telling you what’s up and dis is you listening. Much love and respect to the man woman and children of the globe. Remember the water is cold and fresh squeezed straight off dat tap for that thirst quenching satisfaction of H2O I couldn’t find a little sunken 2 that’s all periodic table style so the regular 2 will have to do! BK LOVE is an avant-garde google guide, NY born and globally traveled, his taste is relatable yet bold. Weighing in at 145lbs and 5’9” Seeking not only experimental dishes and cocktails he also has exquisite taste for the traditional and a sense of off the path adventure. Consistently taking Pole Position 1 in the Grand Prix of Life. You can check out his creative side as a DJ and Visual artist on Instagram @TheBKLove.

First off I’m going to start with the food. I got the chili mango, vegetable spring rolls, and a mango Thai iced tea. The spring rolls were super crispy and fresh. I think they just rolled them on the spot instead of buying precooked. The chili mango (I got medium spicy) was outstanding. Perfect combination of sweet spicy and savory. Slight Smokey flavor to it. Amazing juicy, perfectly cut chicken which made it easy to eat. They served it on a plate that was very artsy giving that homey type of vibe. The Mango Thai tea had just the right amount of sweetness and it had this sweet type boba in it (correct me if I’m wrong) The atmosphere was a little sketchy at first because you have to ring the doorbell to get in (never rang a doorbell to come in a restaurant before) but once you get in there, it’s a warm cozy homey type of vibe. Nice decor and excellent customer service. Everybody was friendly and attentive! The name of restaurant isn’t your average Thai restaurant (which also threw me off) nonetheless, excellent vibe. I checked the reviews online before I came in and I came to the conclusion that I’m DEFINITELY coming back here again. Definitely worth the hype and stars.

i found this place before practicing clay at Altarworks just up the street. i needed a quick light lunch and The Buffs delivered. At first I wondered if they were open because they have to keep the place locked. They have a sign and a doorbell. Actually it was a fun adventure, finding them and then ringing the doorbell wondering if they were open. I think it's not in the best a part of town - but oh my gosh, they welcome you at the door, you walk in and it's so inviting. Open and clean, just a few tables, very nicely decorated with pretty lights and flowers hanging from the ceiling, green around the windows and sweet Thai decor. The food and service was excellent. Affordable and very friendly. i ordered two appetizers- the tofu spring roll and chicken lettuce wrap and both were very good. Simple and filling. i'm going to go back and try their Pad Thai and a bunch of other soups and noodles on their menu. Happy to say i found my go-to lunch spot before practicing clay work😁

Recently, I had the opportunity to dine at The Buffs for the first time. Upon arrival, I was made aware through a preemptive sign that the establishment did not feature restroom facilities, a measure in compliance with the health department regulations of NYC. This was not a concern due to the intimate setting of the restaurant, which accommodates 16 guests. The initial impression was positive, highlighted by the welcoming demeanor of the staff and the bustling atmosphere, though we were fortunate to be seated promptly as a table became available.

The ordering process was streamlined and efficient, facilitated by scanning a QR code at our table which enabled us to place our orders directly with the kitchen via our mobile device. Despite a brief wait of 10-15 minutes, attributed to the peak business hours, the server extended multiple apologies for the delay, which we graciously dismissed. The culinary experience that followed was exceptional, with standout dishes including the garlic sauce and masaman curry, complemented by refreshing beverages of lychee Thai tea and mango juice, all of which were fresh and flavorful.

Upon concluding our meal, the server, in a gesture of gratitude, offered a heartfelt "Kob Kun Ka" - a thank you in Thai - accompanied by a cordial smile. The combination of delectable cuisine and commendable service compels me to endorse this restaurant highly. I am eagerly anticipating...

Edit:9/30/23 I cannot post the pictures for some reason but whoever replied to my review please provide an email I will gladly give you my uber eats receipts.. I am a well known reviewer and I have no reason to lie. Even my coworkers were surprised to see how little my food was compared to the pricing. I've been eating here for years and I know you have lunch specials. The people ordering at fullcpeive through uber shouldn't have to settle for a half full plate for full price. I support all restaurants but to charge someone for a large portion and you don't fill up the soup all thw way and barely put chicken or vegetables isn't honest.. sorry but not sorry! Please provide an email I will gladly send pictures!

I had to update my review because I'm really getting tired of paying full price for items on ubereats and they don't fill up my soup or plate... if I'm paying full price for a large soup why aren't you filling it up? I ordered chicken vegetable soup yesterday and had a very small amount of veggies and a bit of chicken and the large container is filled up half way.. why am I paying $3 extra for this??? I ordered pad see ew 2 weeks ago and literally it was like 2 pieces of noodles diced up with some chicken. Literally broad day robbery.. so sad because I loved this place for years.. I'll have to look...
