Deluxe Inn & Suites - Long Island City NYC — Hotel in New York

WARNING: Do NOT book here unless you want to risk your life. Very unsafe place, especially at night time. It's located at a sketchy, ghetto alley. People outside are yelling/fighting all the time. There was police called two nights in a row when I stayed because of the madness outside. Some hotel residents were also screaming and fighting all night into 3-4am. Absolutely no soundproof, so you can hear everything inside and outside.You will not be able to sleep here at all because of all the ruckus.

The room itself was fairly clean but tiny. The place also reeks of weed due to others smoking. There is no closet, hangers, ironing board, or kettle. You only have a TV, microwave, and fridge. There is no chair and desk. Wifi stops working from 11pmish until early morning. Their vending machine also has no water bottle.

Housekeeping also tried to come in when we had "do not disturb" sign on the door. Front desk guy wasn't too useful either. Staff needs more training.

I wouldn't stay here even if it was free. Only decent thing I can say about this place was that the washroom was renovated in a mediocre manner. Everything else is a joke. I wish I could give 0 stars if I could. This place was a big mistake and would have not booked had I known this...

clean and newly furnished hotel.||They have 2 room sizes with king bed in their website.. I booked the large one but they gave me the small one saying this is the one I booked. not matching the photos. ||I checked in at night, the carpet was wet and the room smelled bad, I reported it to reception and agreed to change the room in the morning.||at 9 am, there was another person at reception, i reported the wet carpet and requested to change the room, he asked to me to wait for an hour, then asked me to wait another 30 minutes, he kept telling me that "he is working on it" and kept me stuck in my room and cancelled my tour plan until 3pm when his boss came to hotel !!!||he know am upset and I missed my tours, he could have told me that he is waiting for his boss from the beginning !!||||later I changed my room and I got the large size one that is matching the photos in my booking !!||||||the rooms have no closet and no where to hang our clothes...
