I came to Dr. Kuan for masseter Botox, just for a consultation. I could not have had a better experience. He was warm, inquisitive, and informative. Without prompt, he told me about a lesser known side effect and how he would specifically avoid it. He answered all of my questions and reminded me at every point that my decision goes, even when I wanted half his recommended dose. From his advice, I decided to get Dysport instead. It was my first time with any cosmetic procedure so I was nervous. I sought Botox for a medical, not cosmetic reason, and I was already a little miffed that my insurance would not cover any of it. Philip Kuan is gifted!! I was extremely hesitant about Botox when I tagged along to my sister’s appointment but was convinced after his knowledgeable and thorough explanation of the procedure as well as the different types available. He squeezed me into the appointment and I got Botox for my severe TMJ and after asking about my thick forehead wrinkles when I raise my brows, I also got Botox in my forehead.
