Booked Shoott for our maternity pictures - highly recommend for anyone who's in need of an easy and relatively affordable solution for a maternity photographer, although they do all types of pictures. You state when you book what kind of pictures you're in need of so they can match you with a photographer with that sort of experience. They're located in many states (but not all just yet). Easy to book on their website, plenty of locations and dates/times to choose from, and the best part is, the shoot itself costs nothing! You just pay for the pictures you like afterwards. We got our photographer's info the day or so before. So we weren't exactly sure about her experience or quality beforehand. I honestly went in with low expectations but I figured since you don't pay anything upfront it was worth the "risk". We were blown away! Our photographer did an amazing job. Not only did she take beautiful pictures, but her experience was apparent. We walked into our session to a beach full of people, something I wasn't really expecting for a Sunday night. I was like great, these are going to come out awful. You wouldn't even know there were other people there! She was great about angles and scouting locations where we could take nice, less crowded shots. Session was done in 30 minutes, nice and quick. We were told getting our pics back would take 3-5 days. We took our pictures Sunday and got them back Wednesday. We got back 70 pictures, and it was honestly way too hard to narrow them down, so we bought the whole gallery for 270, which is honestly a steal around where I live for pictures. But you could buy just one if you wanted! They are lightly edited, but could do more serious retouching for extra if needed. You also have the option of tipping your photographer when you buy your pictures, we did. Honestly I was nervous about using this company. Just because they're not the "boutique" photographers everyone uses nowdays. But I would use them again in a heartbeat for literally any occasion. Wanting to take some family pictures for holiday cards but frustrated with the limited availability and high costs of photographers I was finding online, I was intrigued when I came across the ad for Shoott on Instagram. I looked into it and was ecstatic to see there were so many upcoming shoots with local photographers in places near my hometown. I found one I liked, but times were all booked. It allowed me to request information if upcoming dates opened up for it, and lo and behold, I received an email just a few days after about a new date opening up for that location. I booked a preferred time slot very easily, was given lots of helpful information about our photographer, what to expect, tips for wardrobe, etc., and received information about how the pricing would work (very reasonable!). The day of, we met our photographer Eva, and she instantly started connecting with our 5-year-old to help excite him about the whole process. With children of her own, she knew how to go about photo shoots with little ones and was so accommodating and kind that it made us all feel so much at ease. She was receptive to our preferences, helped us set up in a great location, and was so friendly and helpful the entire time with how/where to stand, what to do, and getting our little ones to smile and simply be themselves to get some great shots. Without Shoott, we definitely wouldn’t have had the opportunity to connect with such an amazing local photographer who captured so many wonderful photos of our family. Just 3 days later, we received our gallery, and I couldn’t be happier. I was so surprised at how beautiful the photos came out and how many were in our gallery given how quick and short our session was! My sister told me about Shoott and at first I was skeptical because it sounded too good to be true! She tried Shoott for her maternity pics and shared how the sessions connect you with local photographers in quick 30 minute sessions where you only pay for the photos you like plus have an option to tip the photographer online via Shoott later.

My fiancé and I were able to do our engagement photos during our quick visit to O’ahu for wedding planning. I scheduled a session 2 weeks out online. They have a map of the locations plus a calendar online to make it easy for you to schedule a session that works for your day. You get ample notifications via email and the day before your photographer will text you. Sean at Waikiki Beach was professional, knew the area well, skillful in his photos, efficient - just overall a good experience plus communicated well.

The only con is that you have 7 days to view the photos and make a decision to buy what you want and then 7 days to download them or the link inactivates. I’d suggest maybe 14 days instead due to some people traveling or it may take some time to make decision but I’m guessing it’s to save space on their servers(?) Once you buy the photos, you can download a zip file to your computer, phone - it’s electronic and yours forever! They gave us a $20 credit for editing pictures but nothing interested me from the list. I wish there was an option to edit the lighting or vibrancy of the colors vs. just focusing on slimming, blemishes, wrinkles. The prices are affordable with 10+ going for $18 each, 3 for $25 each.
